Eating foreign food is not for the faint hearted! The experience with those caterpillars is the same I got as a Ugandan living in UAE. Guys ate Shrimps🍤 and I had a rough time tasting them myself! Caterpillars used to scare me when still young and don't really know If I Can really put them in my mouth but we also have our delicious "nsenene" insects in Uganda. Therefore, I let everyone enjoy their home food in peace

I am absolutely astounded to hear that you are from Russia, now in Zambia and married a local girl!! I wish you happy wedded bliss forever. I know Zambia has many Chinese corps working in mineral sector, have you looked in that area for jobs? I remember watching some Chinese men in Zambia married to local women and operating small businesses; explore that option too. Russia is vast and rich in resources but they need plenty of man power; can your wife withstand long dreary winters and snow? Something to think about before making the BIG MOVE back. There is a tribe here in South Africa that eats the insects. They call them masonja and they fry them they just looove them.
