- What's up people! Today we are in Atlantic City and we are going to take a walk a few blocks in from the Atlantic City Boardwalk to check out the iconic White House Sub Shop! Just a few blocks from the Hotels and Casinos is this sandwich shop that has been around for quite some time. Among the many things that Jersey is known for, subs done right is near the top. White House Subs has crafted superior subs the New Jersey way since 1946. From their humble beginnings nearly seven decades ago, White House Subs has become world famous for quality-made New Jersey subs. We are visiting their main location on Arctic Avenue. They also have a satellite location at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Yes! White House Subs! We always stop on our way out of the city to get some for take home. 1/2 a cheesesteak for there and 1/2 a super Italian for later when I get home.
One of the problems not finding workers is that people have found ways to make money by delivering food, working for Uber etc., so not a lot of people want to go back to minimum wage and dealing with people that will scream, yell, spit on them and in some cases physically attack and kill them because they don't want to adhere to store policy.

Rewatching: one of my favorite videos. Looks DELICIOUS!😁😁I like how they rolled everything inside the meats. I really wish Vegas, or here in Seattle, had a White House.
That's one of their trademarks ... they roll everything up before stuffing it into the roll!
When I stay overnight I always get a whole sub or 3 gyros from Bill's to bring back to the room. This way, when I go back to my room at 4AM or 6AM after drinking & gambling all night, i have a great snack. White House is 5 stars for a sub shop.
That sounds like a perfect plan to me!
Hey Jeff, Is your picture going to be on the wall now at Whitehouse with all the other celebrities? Lol 😂 Angelo's right across the street, and Angelinos also. Some great places to eat and drink still off the boardwalk. The locals know better. AC videos are my favorite. Keep it up.

There was a picture of the Beatles holding a white house sub that was brought up to their room when they play the A.C.convention center back in 64.

If you have time while at Gardners Basin, take the 11 am Morning Skyline boat ride with AC Cruises. Captain Jeff shares his knowledge of AC history. Sit starboard bow. And of course you could eat some delicious pancakes at Gilchrist beforehand. I’d be interested in seeing a Brigantine video. My son and I have created many wonderful memories on the island over the past 16 years.

Try barbera’s seafood which you walked by across from White House Sub shop. They cook fresh seafood to order or eat in that little eating area you showed us outside.

I have a suggestion.. do a walk through of the playground pier (pier shops at caesars), yes yes it doesn't have the 80+ stores it used to have but it would be interesting, caesars is actually looking on doing stuff with the pier in the future.

@@macrebel8068 I remember the dancing fountain. Someone should turn that back on and bring in some food trucks and entertainment. That would be a cheap way to stir up interest and get people inside. Traffic will generate tenants!

Great stuff. I'm a big fan of the White House subs. When I get to AC I buy the place out. 16 cheese steaks, 16 Original Italians, 5 Turkey sandwiches. I put them in my big cooler and share them with my family and friends. If you're new to AC this is the place to go for food.

This video makes me want to eat a White House Sub and go shopping! I usually get the Italian too. I usually eat at The Hard Rock location after I check in but now I want to go to the original location. Oh and FYI: I don't usually like to correct people but you're pronouncing Tanger wrong. It's pronounced like hanger. You're saying it like the Tangiers hotel that was the name of the hotel in the movie Casino.
I enjoyed the sub Debra and I really wanted another while I was editing the video! Feel free to correct me (everyone else does), it's the only way to learn!

They are definitely unique Lester b. The way they roll the meat and cheese around a salad type mixture...it certainly is a different type if sandwich. I haven't had one in about a year (its an older video). Im gonna go back and try it again! Thanks for watching and subscribing!
