Hey Doctor, I’d like to thank you for uploading this video and making me aware I’m not alone in my issues.
I’m a high school student and I’ve had a problem arise since about a year ago, where I just get a severe anxiety and panic attacks if I do not have immediate access to a bathroom nearby. This has unfortunately resulted in me using the bathroom excessively (3-4times per day), but also caused me to stop eating at school in an effort to calm my stomach and bowel. I often find myself super frustrated and embarrassed over my issues and this have kept it quiet. I am currently on a routine of taking Omeprazol and using the bathroom 2-3 times before going to school. The problem I have is that rarely I ever get anything out, and if I do, there is still a result of anxiety and panic episodes I get which turn into diarrhea.
If I could respectfully ask, do you know of calming excersies or maybe steps I could take in order to control this anxiety, as it has been affecting my life more and more to the point where I am fearful of eating out with friends and family, aswell as the fear of a bathroom not constantly being available.
Thank you so much for your time Doc, have a great day.

I’ve noticed my anxiety kicks in about 10 minutes before I even feel the need to use the restroom, I usually calm it down with pepto or alka seltzer since anxiety effects the way your stool comes out (watery)
Also use stress tea by yogi that saved me from constantly using benzos on every major panic attack
