I found a big polished pendant of amber in a free box today. I tested it, its real. Got lucky!
I am at the beginning of discovering crystals so as soon as the roads improve I will began looking for my crystals. As you were talking of finding stones I remembered someone who sales crystals at an antique mall nearby and maybe that is why I began to think about it. Blessings to you

Hi Christa! Thank you for this wonderful, wonderful video! Amber was the first stone I started working with. But I gave that piece to a friend as a present. I really like the golden light energy of amber, as you describe it. It also helps me in times I'm batteling with depression. I'm about to buy a new piece. It's a pendant of baltic amber. You are amazing. I love amber and have one piece. Baltic Amber is costly but WORTH IT. I never knew amber had healing benefits. So it looks like I will be wearing it more as winter is coming up. Thank you.

Thank you for this video Christa! I have a question - I have a raw piece of amber (the rough-looking yellowish, not reconstituted). I have had it for a long time and had been drawn to it, however havent' used it in several years for healing. It looks like it's aged.. do you have any tips on storing and revitalizing amber? Thanks in advance!

Can you please do a video on how to shop for good quality crystals? What are the chances that the crystals you are buying are not 100% authentic? Are there specific types of crystals that are more frequently "watered down" like the reconstituted amber?

Thanks for the video suggestion. :) I will take that into consideration for a future video. Some stones that show up as fakes the most are amber, chrysocolla, colour enhanced clear quartz (coloured in pink or purple), turquoise.

i have some pieces of what i think is amber, but it's more on the green side....do these have any special healing properties?

Yes, some amber can come in a green colour. It's more rare. It would have the same healing properties of the other amber, but because it is green, it will also work more on the heart and heart chakra. It is a very soothing vibration and cools the emotions where the yellow amber is more energizing. Green amber can energize too.

Hello, interesting if a size of amber matters? I had picked up tiny bids of Baltic amber from the Baltic see myself, therefore for suer I know is real :) , because to detect real amber from a fake really difficult

Yes, it is difficult to tell real from fake amber sometimes. Your amber pieces sound lovely and super special that you found it yourself :) No size of the amber does not matter. Here is my video on that topic:

crystalheart9 I took it to a jeweller and mineralogist and found out! I still like the design of that necklace and I do wear it. :)
Crystal Healing It is beautiful but I know the price was too much for not being genuine. Years ago I was looking at an amber pendant and was thinking of buying it. I noticed the disks or circles in the stone and thought it odd. I ended up not buying it. I'm thinking it wasn't genuine either.

When a crystal has a point, energy can be directed through the point which means that it has a more focussed energy. Crystal healing practitioners will often work with crystal points to direct energy for healing purposes when doing crystal healing sessions. When you have a crystal point in a room, it can "beam" healing energy into a room.

Oh yeah, if the amber has insects in it can it still be a reconstituted piece? (Length of video 11:11!!!)
