- A man has been charged with second degree murder after an altercation with another man on a transit bus in Everett Sunday night turned deadly.
According to the Everett Police Department, the two men were on a bus traveling southbound on Evergreen Way when they got into an altercation.
According to court documents released Monday, the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Alejandro Meza, believed the victim was trying to smoke drugs on the bus, which started the argument between the two men.

They raised it to 500,000. But. Still unjust. Dude was just trying to get to work and some junkie smokes drugs right infront of him on a bus. Then attacks him. Ive seen the video. I was shocked they convicted. But. There was a mistrial. Prosecutor misled the jury

Reporting seems ok with me......if that guy had waited to see a weapon (part) and had a permit....maybe just a slap on the wrist. (my opinion only)

absolutely disgusting that they could even try to say this was self defense. idc if the man was smoking crack, that is NOT A SHOOTABLE OFFENSE! They should shock this guy in my opinion, this is just ridiculous. Especially noting that i have friends who’ve been wrongly accused of graffiti due to camera angles, so the fact that the they cant just get the facts straight from the cams is nothing but shady.
This is simply trash removal. No sympathy here. He'll make far better compost than he did a "human".

It was definatly self defense. Peterson the drug user. Attacked the shooter. Hit him first. They fought. The guy didn't even shoot til.some.ome grabbed for his gun. And it was 2 on 1.
The 2md shot. He thought the junkie was reaching for a weapon so he shot again.
