My first son was born in February this year. I was terrified for my wife through the whole thing but was able to keep it together until i had a few minutes alone later in the day.
That emotional release is no joke.
But I'm so in love with him. He's perfect.

so interesting to see this perspective, thank you for sharing! As a father of four I'm very familiar with US delivery rooms and hospital food and appreciate this perspective. US hospital food isn't nearly as good looking but was waaaay better than hospital food in Germany!

Congrats! Acupuncture treatment after birth is cool. That would be quite expensive in the US, but it sounds like a great idea.
Acupuncture/chiropractic are very important after birth especially if she wants to play sports etc. Yeah I assume it's expensive in the US... 😔

Thanks! Yeah my feet were like that for a few weeks 😬 In my case the body tried to contain more water, also the blood flow went bad cause of the birth.

May I say first off, "KAWAII". Oh, isn't your baby cute. Secondly, I am sorry that your labour didn't go as smoothly as you expected it to but its like that. My own wife had a 24 hour labour, for the same reason as you, before she had to have an emergency C-section in the end. The thing my wife was worried about was her tummy was still big after birth. She was told that over time the belly will steadily get smaller as your body recovers so don't worry if your tummy doesn't rebound back immediately. It can take a few months before that happens. The important thing is to keep yourself healthy so that you can take care of your little one. Congratulations again.

I know around 8 east Asian women and 7 are married and have 2/3/4 kids with white men and the other is dating an Asian man. Would be interesting to see the growth rate of Eurasian population. Congratulations, now I hope that in the future this child does not study in a Japanese school, otherwise I fear that he could be a victim of bullying. Since (unfortunately), most Japanese people have the bad habit of not accepting very well people they consider “different” from them, like mixed race people for example, who are called “hafu” there.
Are many women having babies in Japan? Got to turn around that declining birth rate!
Japanese hospital food is soo good looking. All you get here is a very sad miniature salad, mashed potatoes and a dry piece of chicken over frozen carrots. 🤢
