  • David's Been Here takes an excusive tour of the historic Pilsner Urquell Brewery. Located in Plzeň, Czech Republic, this brew house has been operating since 1842 providing the world with its first pilsner beer. DBH takes a tour through the iconic gate, the original brewery, as well as the new brewery built in 2004 and not open to the public. Take the private tour with DBH and check out the Pilsner cellar with its nearly 8,000 liter barrels. Find out everything about Plzen and the Czech Republic in the DBH Guide: Czech Republic.

I have been to Pilsner Urquell and it should be on every tourists list of things to visit in the Czech Republic. I really likes the way they have it set up with a huge courtyard that leads to the various buildings.

Davidsbeenhere Had I been a little more savvy there is a train form Prague to Pilsen. The train station is directly across the street form the brewery.
