That put JFF in a position to wait on Bailey to make his mind up. Bad place for the Federation to be in. Officially suspending Bailey's call-up puts the onus on Bailey to BEG to play for the National team and also extinguishes the expectations of the Bailey's fans that want to see him picked for Jamaica.

That js not true. A player can tell the federal to not consider him or her for future selection indefinitely or until further notice. The federation irrespective of the situation at are saving face.
