Henrietta's mom sits next to her dad and brushes some lint of her pants.

Henrietta walks into frame.

Henrietta sits in the chair to the side of her parents.

Henrietta, as you know, your mother and I have been concerned about your behavior for some time.
HENRIETTA

We've had a hard time coping with the dark things you're into but we've finally had some counseling. Apparently we are not the only parents who have a child that is EMO.
HENRIETTA

It’s funny how the goth kids are the most popular characters, and yet they rarely show up in the series.
Because being compelling to your fans is for conformists.
If they showed up too much in the series, they’d probably get boring and repetitive. Their short appearances are amazing and that’s what makes them so popular.

Goth kids are my favorite characters in the show. It's a shame they don't get their own episodes more often. And on a side note people not knowing the difference between goth and emo is a real thing and very frustrating.

A goth is someone who finds beauty in the dark and macabre aspects of life. Such as death, decay and insignificance. These aren't viewed as negative things. They're seen as liberating, even soothing. That's the difference.

As someone who was a teenager in the early 2000s this seems very familiar.
What does the early 2000s have to do with it? That's emo. Goth is something which has been around a lot longer.

Some of the best additional characters in the show, i'd like to see more of them.
All she needs is empathy and politeness even people mistakes never end in reality, being rude can do nothing to problems, just make yourself as a problem, like attitude problem, reject them politely so adults won't annoy you anymore.

One thing that I've always wondered about this scene is if Bradley is Henrietta's brother, then why isn't he in any family pictures in the living room?
Because that wasn't written into the show until later. It's the same reason Darth Maul and Jar Jar Binks are never mentioned in the original Star Wars trilogy. They didn't exist until the prequels were written.
