Equalibrium Man - The Snowflake That Never Was

- Equalibrium Man was an idea hatched from my love of early game Runescape and my interest in snowflake ironman accounts. An idea that was not meant to last... (for me)
I discovered SlayerMusiq1's One Level At a Time series while editing this video, if you are interested in the concept watch his series instead.
SlayerMusiq1's OLAAT Series Playlist:
• One Level At A Time - Hry
Straight up was planning to drop this as a one off video and do something different but the reactions tell me we all want more (even me), so look forward to future episodes folks. No guarantee on consistency though
Perhaps you should adjust how close the levels have to be? Like maybe within 5 before 20 within 3 below 30 etc
Setting a goal so there's a 'story' is also cool too. Settled is the king of storytelling with his snowflake accounts. The 1hp series he's not just showing how interesting it is to play the game like that, he's trying to get a fire cape with 1hp.
@@justinr4718 nah keeping them equal is better, it's a challenge but that's the whole point. Besides, it's not outrageously hard
@@justinr4718 While that could definitely make things less punishing I do like the difficulty level as it is with the 1 level rule. Besides, we all know exceptions are for losers (except hitpoints)
Please do continue this series, it does seem quite interesting as you have so much to balance!
Consistent or not you are funny af, u got the juice
1 99 at a time accounts find their greatest enemy.
Yourself?
:) I’m on skill #11 fishing all at

Guthix would be pleased with the amount of balance
A series that’s essentially anti-efficiency? Yes please
my osrs gameplay is all about that and i AM HERE FOR IT babyyy
This will be just as delightfully painful as all the other rule locked accounts but in a very fresh and different way. Zero way to efficiently grind anything. Having to purposefully avoid doing quests that dole out shit tons of a specific XP until that dump won't give you a level is SUCH a pain in the ass for ironman gear progression my god. Bless you sir, you have my sub.
"Having to purposefully avoid doing quests that dole out shit tons of a specific XP until that dump won't give you a level is SUCH a pain in the ass for ironman gear progression my god." My heart goes out to Skill Guided lol
meh, not really. It is SLIGHTLY annoying in the beginning. but it very quickly becomes a non-issue.
Tears of guthix may come in clutch one day
I appreciate others making these silly series so I never have to suffer though the grinds, I can just watch you suffer instead, cool concept though
“I can watch you suffer instead” 😂😂😂 low key thinking about making my own series just for comments like this
yep it feels actually good to play runescape on my main while i watch these kinda series
“you are to bring balance to your stats” -Konar
I'll throw my comment in just to add to the pile. Legitimately entertained by watching this video. I think you did a good job. The editing was timely and your voice is suited for narration. Good work! You've earned my subscription.
Soooo many quests locked behind total level. I love it.
I thought this was an April fool's joke but saw this was released after.
Delighted that this is a real series, great comedic timing and matched editing..
Subscribed for the future episodes! Keep it up
Good editing, entertaining commentary, interesting and potentially agonizing gameplay concept? Recipe for greatness, count me in
it only needs a few hundred hours, I think you got this bro
I had the exact same idea awhile back as its how i prefer to play my ironman, but i couldnt figure out hitpoints and didnt think to just ignore them. Good video!
haha dam ur so sexy and funny
Oh my god I once tried to get all my stats in one column to an even 60 for a cool screenshot and it was one of the most frustrating things I'd ever done. I love this series lol this is super promising, best of luck to you
This is actually how I gravitate towards playing the game naturally! Not down to the number like you but that’s what makes this interesting!!! I love hopping between tasks and back in the day I got all my skills to base 70 without getting any above 90, I never wanted to leave any behind!
Its like a Regen of Slayermusiq's old concept - Used to love that series. Great job bringing it back, will continue to watch with interest
Love how there's still gaps for unique content, great content man!!
I was wondering about the exact same concept a while ago, and was curious on how/if it would actually work. So this is really neat to see someone actually checking it out, regardless of whether it will continue or not :)
I love this concept. Subscribed to see this continue!
made me laugh aloud! I looked at your channel to see what else you had and was so surprised that you're so new and have so few views, keep it up man, ez subscribe
Love this potential series and your narration!
the struggle makes it all worth watching, please keep these going!
Love the concept and I’m looking forward to more!
Love this premise, please keep it going!!
Sub has been earned. Like has been smashed. And comment has been dropped.
Please provide more of this content, this is a very fun idea, and love to see it grow!
the jump cuts were peak, this is unironically great
Reallllly cool series! Can't wait to see more!
I fully expected to see a channel with like 100k+ subs from watching the video. Then I checked and was fucken shocked. Earned my sub
laughed hard at the equal guy 2 transition lol. keep it up I wanna see more
I'm impressed with this game's community's ability to keep finding new cruel and unusual punishm- I mean, interesting unique challenges
Subbed and curious to see how this will grow from trying not to jump lower levels to trying to sustain supplies for higher levels
Fantastic video on a truly insane concept.
I remember an account called "Renez" that I would look up every now and then and he was doing this exact same thing over a decade ago. Mind blowing. Thanks for the nostalgic memory.
im catching up on the r/Snowflakes subreddit and discovered your series! Added to my Snowflakes playlist :) Good luck! This sounds like it's gonna be brutal later on lol.
Nice vid ez sub. Please continue the series bro!
Suffering truly for the entertainment of all of us and with this much consequence is a blessing. Like, sub, comment just for the effort.
Thanks for this
New and refreshing, love it
This series is awesome!
This video made me think of a guy called "Renez"
Who back in the day had a party to level up each skill from high 89 to 90
there are still some videos up from this man doing this
Great challenge! keep it up
I'm leaving this comment before watching the video: I've been considering making an account like this, so I was thinking about it a bit, and I am very excited to see the details of the rules/exceptions you end up making, and how you approach things like slayer and getting certain gear (assuming you do play it as an ironman)!
This is a fun concept. I'd to see you have fun with it.
Jesus, AND you're ultimate ironman? I could never.
Ty for this series!
Hey man! Finally found your channel after seeing your stuff on reddit. Great job!
Surprised this is the first I've seen of this on CZcams. I did something similar on my HCIM on RS3 for fun although 10 levels at a time until 99s then 1 level at a time after 99s. Figured it was fairly common but glad to see someone else recording it. I like it because It forced me to have variety in gameplay instead of burning out doing one thing for dozens or hundreds of hours.
Doing this and playing without the wiki / questhelper is exactly what the gower's intended.
very cool concept, good luck!
Me: "How can he possibly balance hit points with his other skills?"
ThisIsLandon: "Fuck Hitpoints."
Me: "That's fair."
Really relaxing content while I grind some mobile exp ! Subbed
Excellent video, actually some humour in a snowflake account with no concerns about max xp/h. I’ll certainly be watching! Best of luck
here for this. gl on the awkward grind
Fun watch! I really think this kind of account would be genuinely enjoyable to play with a few tweaks:
-regular iron instead of ultimate
-forced to focus on lowest level skill at the time
-allow quest xp if the xp is going to the lowest level skill in a single xp drop
-allow gaining xp in another skill if it would result in xp in the lowest level skill (slayer, herb farming, rc, fletching, firemaking, construction, forestry events etc.)
Sick idea! Please say more in the video about your strategy, leveling order, what you need to avoid and what is dangerous. These are going to be a great episodes!
All planned for future episodes, thanks!
Lmao the moment there's a karate chop and "fuck hitpoints", you know it will be good.
Quality editing on top of quality entertaining 👏
One video in and I love it already! For runecrafting, you can use ZMI in a pinch for boosted xp/essence.
Equal boy goes hard!
Subscribed. This is madness.
Love the idea. Good quality too! Like all of us OSRS players, I can tell you like pain. You're funny as all hell. Good luck you poor bastard.
Amazing video - hooked from 4-minutes in
You can't run from Equal Man. You can't hide from Equal Man. You may think you are done, but the equation must be solved.
A friend of mine tried this years ago. It got harder the higher levels went. I wish you very well in this series
subbed! this seems very fun
Slayermusiq did something similar and called it an OSAT for one skill at a time. From what I remember he made it to about level 70 when he finally got hit points caught up but burnt out. Best of luck!
Love the concept
You crushed this bro easy sub
Please continue this series !!!
love this idea lol great video
Now this seems like it's super interesting!
Really loved baby tuna's series on this but it seems to have fizzled out. Good to see another one on this concept!
This is interesting enough to make me subscribe, more please
Slayer will clearly be the hardest skill to maintain
highly true
Would absolutely wait months to see more of this.
that's good cause you will. (jk new ep this friday)
Enjoyed the vid, I think it is a bit insane to keep it within 1 level all the way to 99, the pain involved in that you're locked out of A LOT of quests until you're basically at the end of the game is wack.
I say add some buffer to it, not enough to make it "easier" but enough to make it less torture for yourself, ie; 1 level gap up to 20, 2 till 30, 3 till 40, etc, or just stop at 30 and have 3 level gap, as I think that is decent, xp diff double every 7 levels so it keeps it within a pretty narrow range, but also gives you far more freedom to do quests waaay earlier than what you could possibly do locked in at 1 by 1.
That aside, hope to see another vid regardless, feel like continuing this for too much longer can't possibly last without some sort of wiggle room, lol, goodluck!
My guy watched the other series that did this and said to himself “I could make it even more torturous”
Thank you, more please
You’re a funny guy. I put my vote on continuing
this is a really funny, great video! subbed for more content, equal man or whatever
I think I remember this old account! Never saw it grow up hahaha guess now I see why at least!
Gl with your future endeavours
I wondered if that one guy I met who said he'd kept an eye on my prorgess really meant it... but he shall return!
Absolutely mad. How deranged must one be to think and go through with such a challenge
Love this idea.
Excellent.
This reminds me of how I started years ago. Can't wait to see what happens with this account.
never enough uim series on youtube, yeet
Okay if he ever gets to the end and he max's all skills in a row one after another that would be really cool
10:41 - Oh man, that made me laugh out loud... xp
Incredible
Love the Goku edit 🤣
Having all the stats be equal at the end of a circuit looks so cool
That is exactly why I made the account basically
Exceptions?… NONE! Lmao I’m sold
You’re a legend
I literally have a thing where I try to get all of my levels equal at all times... And now I'm vindicated!
Lol i laughed my ass off a few times! I've been postponing my pvp hcim & vids for so long... I feel you my man
subbed looking forward to ep 2
Osolaat returns, UIM Loki will be happy
I did something vaguely similar (but infinitely more casual) to this on my ironman. Raised skills such that there was no more than a 7 level difference between my lowest and highest level. I made a few exceptions for my sanity, mainly that in the beginning of the game I allowed myself to grind for up to an hour on a single skill before forcing myself to swap. Also I wasn't really being hard on myself so if skills happened to fall out of balance by accident such as by quest XP then that was fine too.
I'm gonna go ahead and leave a like for the ITYSL reference alone
dropped a sub, looking forward to more uploads
This video was peak and I want more lmao
