Hey Riff, the shirt is from a UK radio station called capital. Back when the shirt was released they'd have been an up an coming station. They're now the UKs biggest radio station so it's a piece of history for multiple reasons.
Omg! I want the Green Jello thing! I brought a band to play at one of their shows in Houston... I danced in a mask and everything! That's super cool!!!
Capital FM is a radio station here in good old blighty England based in London. I'm 44 n remember when I was a kid and had visit my nan in London we use drive past the sega headoffice which had a huge sonic sign, was highlight of my each time lol. Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 to all of you and family's have a good one xx
Capital FM is one of the biggest radio stations in London, it still goes by the same name today and uses the same radio frequency 95.8. Happy holidays to all of the PGS family, thanks for another year of entertainment!
@@42calking53 Well I think he did sing for the band but Danny Carey was once the drummer in Green Jello before Tool. But I dont think Maynard was actually in the band he just filled in.
Nice find on the Green Jelly tape. I'm always surprised when I see any mention of this band since they're very under the radar and have an interesting story. Fun fact: Green Jelly has had between 75 and 115 members since their first debut. Apparently the band has a high turnover rate.
it looks like a old 90's roadshow t shirt for Capital radio station London England. As for the year of the roadshow i think it's 1992 because it as Sonic the Hedgehog on the t shirt, Sega sponsored them two more times, 1994 sega Virtua Racing and 1997 Sega Saturn. As for the life bands that would be something interesting to find out who was there.
Green jello was rare because the label made them change the band name to green jelly due to jello being a registered trademark. On another note, I’m not a Gordon fan but that snoopy car was sweet.
Green jelly Three little pigs, I used to listen to to that at auctions with my parents, on a cassette walk man with no rewind. So I would listen to song flip tape and fast forward to get back to the song.
Cool T-Shirt at the end. The radio station is here in the UK. The location from the tour at the bottom "Old Deer Park" is 5 mins from where I currently live in South West London. Great video guys. Merry Christmas
You guys have got to do a Christmas Special episode!!! We all watch you for the nostalgia and nothing more nostalgia inducing than Christmas! Gonna keep commenting this until it happens. Then when that goes well which it will you can do other Holiday specials like Halloween, 4th of July Thanksgivings etc.
Green Jello! Dude it’s just some rock music. It’s pretty good though ☺️ I had a green Jello tshirt when I was in middle school. 😎 Merry Christmas to you guys! Fire 🔥 vid!
Just incase nobody has said it already but the tour dates on the tee are all London places, back in the 80s/90s you could only really pick up Capital in London with FM radios. I lived outside London but we would try to record the Hip Hop show Fresh Start To The Week and hope there was no bad weather that would cause interference. Thanks for triggering that great childhood memory!
Your shirt is from Capital FM which is a radio station based in LONDON UK! 🇬🇧 and those are venues on the back in london for a fund raising marathon they did around london Guys!
Capital fm had that logo between 96-98. Assuming those dates in May are all Saturdays (which would make sense with the Roadshows basically being free promotional concerts) that would make it 1997. Or 1998 if they were a Sunday.
Hi Riff, Just so you know the Capital FM SEGA tshirt is from the UK. Not sure the year of the shirt but the Radio station is still going today. Hope you, Ricky and the whole squad have a great Christmas and New Year. Big fan of you all from the UK 😊👍
Dude the Green Jello find was awesome, super Nostalgia inducing for me!!! That was the second Rock Album I ever purchased with my own $ (first was Nirvana) I was more into Rap. Super Curious if you wound up listening to the song and if so what you thought?
That Green Jello is something pretty special. They were sued by Bill Cosby and the Jello company because of the name. The lost unfortunately and had to change the name, they turned in to Green Jelly at that point. I could be wrong but I think I remember that being took off the shelf to be sold. if it has the video Cereal Killer because of to many trademarked characters. Again I might be wrong at that. Video is on here. Anyways they are still a touring band and they are self proclaimed as a punk rock puppet show. They are absolutely great if you like stupid humor and kinda 80s style buttrock. Also Danny Carey (Tool drummer) drummed for that album. There is a lot of history between them and Tool in the early 90s.
Capital FM is one of the largest radio networks in the UK. Speaking of the UK Ricky’s Terminator VHS box set looks to have the UK 18 certificate on it?
you never heard green jello’s 3 little pigs or saw the claymation video????? little pig, little pig, let me in…. NOT BY THE HAIR OF MY CHINNY-CHIN-CHIN!!! my favorite part is when rambo comes in. watch it and you’ll see! also merry christmas everyone!
Everyone wearing jackets and hoodies. Riff wearing his short shorts.

That’s so awesome!!! I love that shirt as well!!
yeah to add i almost certain going by the dates it is 1997 they tend to run roadshows on a weekend. The logo of capital matches the 1997 version .
Omg! I want the Green Jello thing! I brought a band to play at one of their shows in Houston... I danced in a mask and everything! That's super cool!!!
The green Jello label was recalled. So that is valuable to the right collectors. They had to change the name to green jelly.
A Christmas Eve video at 12:05am on Christmas Day (East Coast), awesome first “present”! Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone!

Wow that green jello vhs cassette tape combo is so cool. It’s Maynard from the band tool singing three little pigs. Such a classic
This is a huge score. My eyes lit up when he popped this up on the screen.
