It’s great to see the local craft placemats and baskets that the lady made, she is very talented making beautiful products . These are the type of things tourists like to buy. Only bad thing is getting some of the bigger items home on the airplane . Often you find that a lot of the local crafts are kissed as they are not passed on to the younger generation. It’s great to see the crafts and cultures that the country has to offer, instead of the demolition and arrests . Good Video 👍

The Gambia 🇬🇲 needs more police officers and detectives and new prisons new police stations surveillance systems, supermarkets, hospitals, housing.

39.09 I do not understand - here you are walking to the beach - I was there last month using this way and I got to the beach ok - I saw no police stopping locals and your video showed no police either. The next shot is of you walking towards Tropic mall presumably from the beach?? .

Most of the products are excellent quality but most European tourists do not buy them because they do not suit their house interior - they are just too colourful. I am sure if the bags and dresses were of a more more neutral colour they would sell more. Girls will not wear African type dresses in the UK. Re basket products - very difficult to carry home on the airline except for say the place mats but again they need to be less colouful. Interesting that at 24.10 the structure has not been removed as does not seem legal - maybe because the authorities fear a backlash from the tourists? I am sure she gave the wrong tel no and the interviewer repeated the wrong nos!?
