- Let's try out one of Dermalogica's hero products: the Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator. This powder exfoliant promises to gently polish, brighten and smooth skin and is suitable for all skin types. In this video, we're going to discuss what the Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator promises, how to use it, alternatives for different skin types, my first impressions and opinions over time. This is one of those products that I've had sitting around for a while but I've never used it as instructed or as regularly as I should have so we're going to change that and give it a fair shot!
Since filming this video, I've continued to use the Daily Microfoliant (and have begun mixing it in the lid - don't know why I didn't think of this before but it really cuts down on the mess!) for 3 weeks and still agree with all of the opinions I expressed in this video.

I totally agree with you 💜 I am 43 and tried countless exfoliators since I was young and as a makeup artist, and I gotta say - THIS is the ONE, sad to say as it is very pricey in my country, but it is the best, and I gave up on looking for dupes! I usually love to switch up but this one is my one single holy grail!
It feels amazing to lather it up, feels so refreshing and deeply cleaning.
I also really love the fact that I can control it's exfoliating effect by how much water I use - 2 times a week I go a bit coarser and drier...
Using it every morning has truly improved the appearance of my not so young and oily skin, my pores are cleaner and less clogged, and my overall complexion looks more Dewey and glowy, as you mentioned.

Hi! Have you used the Clinique vitamin c powder cleansers? Can you compare these two products?
Hi Kara, yes I have! I think the biggest difference is that the Clinique Fresh Pressed is designed to be used short term for a “boost” of brightening over the space of a week or so, which is great if you want to up your skincare routine in the run up to an event but in terms of lasting results, I didn’t really find that brightness lasted long once that “course” of the powder sachets was over. It was great for brightening for that period of time though. I think this Dermalogica one goes a step further in helping the texture of your skin and is suitable for long-term use. I have a video about the Clinique Fresh Pressed powder on my channel too if you’d like to see more about it (but a word of warning, it was my first ever review video so I do look very very young 😂)
you are applying it wrong! You have to get it foamy, it shouldn’t scrub ur face.
