Loved this character, hes not evil he has just gone through so much and suffered so much..loved his transformation from an "evil" guy to a more friendly guy..
He has guilt over his own actions at Kasserene Pass that got his men killed anyway, so he's really putting the pressure on his squad.

God Pierson is such a good character! I love how he transitions from a totally hardcase then finally moderately warms up, and Josh does a fantastic job as the character!
Josh Duhamel is such a brilliant military actor. His performance as Lennox in the Transformers movies alone is a good enough example. His role as Pierson was great.
Don't let that Razzie nomination fool you. Josh Duhamel wasn't even that bad in Transformers 5. The movie itself was awful and he unjustly took some of the blame

I know it sounds weird but Pierson despite having been a cocoon most of the time is one of the few decent and credible characters that has given us the saga of COD and not to mention the Battlefield that only memorable was the black person of B4 to Dima of B3 we did not even mention him that for I finish in B4 is to give a slap to the programmers

Ever since Kasserine Pass, Pierson's emotions have gone south and then After the death of Turner it looks like his emotions have gone towards a southern place and then after the Zussman Incident it looks like he is getting his emotions to what a normal person would have.
Everyone else: Seargent Pierson, the strict soldier who suffers from the memories of seeing his soldiers die at Kasserine Pass, and has now become a ruthless warrior who only focuses on the mission, regardless of the cost.

I loved how they made him out to be some big A-Hole, until Col. Davis sets the record straight. At that moment you see the real man behind the legend. Very good storytelling if you ask me.
