As an African American who happens to be Greek Orthodox, I can say that I have experienced racism first hand during my first months of attending an Orthodox Church. The priest at that time, who baptized me afterwards, told me what many of the people would call me after Divine Liturgy. And the priest was Serbian. I still speak with him, he’s my spiritual father along with my Nouna, who is white. But, my point for saying these things is that we should not expect perfection from others inside nor outside the Church, but we should expect ourselves to bring love where there is no love. ☦️

Well the Church is a hospital for souls so there will be sick people in the Church as you would find in a hospital. Having said that, since the head of the Orthodox Church is Jesus Christ, if a priest or even if a patriarch steps outside of the teachings of the Church and of the Holy Fathers, they don't change Orthodoxy, they themselves choose to step outside of it. And racism is a great sin in a very obvious way since hating someone is like killing him. So continue to be Orthodox, since racism and Christianity are opposite.

Ethiopian and Eritrean Churches are not part of Orthodox Church, but I don't know if it's because of theology or because they simply couldn't reach each other (being in the middle of Muslim world and what not)

Not Black, but considering Orthodoxy. I've gone through some of the same struggles on my journey, so this was really encouraging. I agree with you on culture 100%. There was a point in time where Russian Orthodoxy was a weird Greek church in Russia. It eventually became their own.
I am so happy seeing Africans in America returning to Orthodox. I am Agazian / Habesha (Geez people ) from the origin of human being Habeshia (Abyssinia). Our ancient Kingdom of Axsum received christianity in the early 3 century since then we are orthodox. Don't worry, people will exclude those who differ. from churches . not just Orthodox . I'm English. and trying to be accepted by ethnic churches is just as difficult as Fr Moses experienced Ethnophyletism is common. Seeing him sparks many thoughts in my head, for me as a black man there's this internal want to be EOTC because of my history yet being from American when I attend OCA I understand the language and can relate on a cultural level. Not to mention EO verses OO. I wish there was a Black American Orthodox Church. I wish there was one church.

I am an Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahado Christian and Orthodox has been part of Ethiopia for 2000 years or so

I should have told you to believe. All you must do is believe the Gospel and you will be saved. Right now, you're probably scared. The last scripture may have left you feeling like you were unable to escape condemnation. Believe in the gospel and cry out for our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:9-13

If you knew the truth and left the gospel then you are one who wandered from the truth. Now if you see the errors of your ways and you want to return to the truth then you have been saved from death. The truth is as follows:

We are not saved by who we are or what we are. Right now, the enemy will try to make you feel condemned. He will use the scriptures to make you feel there is no hope. I could address those scriptures with you if you like. Now let me guide you on how to handle this problem:
1. Do not delete your videos.

Our works do not save us, grace saves us through faith. Listen closely, if there is any part of you that wants to say, “but works matter”. Then you do not fully understand the gospel. This is another scripture to strip you of the belief that you must earn salvation. Believe the following:

To the one who does not work but trusts God, who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness. Grace saves us through faith unto good works. If you still have a hard time accepting that your works do not matter for salvation, then you probably have confused the letter of James, the sanctification process, as well as some teachings of Jesus. I would happily bring correction where I can. I want to make sure you are in the faith. I need to make sure you have a heart-felt grasp of faith and works. It is truly important.
