So zart und gefühlvoll. Hammer, Simon! Du bist ein Großer! Hast du dir das träumen lassen, als du mit Pimpy Panda im JazzClub in Bielefeld aufgetreten bist? Joni Mitchell wrote it by Caecilie Norby perfected it. Clouds (~36:40)...masterful rendition with Lars Danielsson on bass. If that doesn't make you stop and listen, you might as well cut-off your ears.

Great stuff as always from Lars. Kudos to JazzBaltica again and again! Does anyone know the effect (effect pedal or effect "system") that Lars is using that is essentially adding harmonized ethereal "ambient" sound as he plays the first solo bass song? I have heard someone else use that "effect" and I'm interested in it. I think David Darling used it with some of his cello music as well. Thanks!
Eventide Space Reverb/or plug-in on shimmer setting more than likely. Or, Strymon Big Sky Reverb pedal/ or plug-in on shimmer or similar setting. A reverb w/shimmer like effects makes that ethereal, harmonic/harmonized space/cloud/angels singing sound.
