Interesting story. The subs are really bad so I had to watch it twice. Plus there are lots of flashbacks that give important information and bad editing which loses some information.
My understanding: (please feel free to comment). He parachutes out of a plane and she finds him and asks him to let her have a baby and he has to leave and never get involved.
10 years before the end of the story the ML and FL loved each other infinitely. Because the ML was poor her dad objected. First he tried to buy the ML off. No go. Then the green tea stepsister of ML (in love with him but in typical vertical dramaland, he is clueless. ). She made a deal with FL dad to fake gastric cancer and draw the (step) brother ML away. The FL dad arranged the whole medical fakery and gave the ML money for treatment. He also made the ML break up with her in a typical mini drama bit of abuse. He left with his ‘sister’ to get her healed. The FL father lied to her and said he paid him off.
FL was so hurt she voluntarily did hypnosis to forget everything about him and left a necklace with her BFF in case she ever falls in love again BFF has to give it to her. Meanwhile back in metropolis 🤣 ML makes bunches of money while searching for his Bai Yeuguang (sp ?) (white moonlight). They fall in love AGAIN, arrange a marriage but the necklace/pendant unlocks her memory. Wedding cancelled. She passes out, ML sister is hospitalized and he figures out the medical fakery because she was ‘suicidal’ and he asked her doctor about the previous (nonexistent) cancer. For business reasons FL and ML soon marry but she is SO hurt that she drugged him on the wedding night and she blew town. She has a little girl.
For 5 (?) years he doesn’t believe her fake suicide and searches for her. He finds her by mistake on a business trip. She runs a seaside hotel and restaurant. Male Friend is mistaken by ML as her husband, she makes ML agree to divorce but on the way to the airport there’s a huge car crash.She runs to hospital but alas, he’s lost. Eventually he finds her at home and they make up.
Not boring to me. I left out the side story of the evil dad and stepmother and her son. It’s mother dads (stepmom kills him with this info) and takes over the company.
Suffice it to say every good person except the kid is rewarded and every bad person except the green tea stepsister gets his or her just desserts. Including the FL father. Even though he did love her, he was too driven by greed and schemes. Does this make him the biggest green tea of all? 🤔🤣🙃😵 Sorry to write so much but I could tell from the comments that the story was too convoluted to understand. If u r still here, thanks for the read. 8/10
虽然剧情平淡但故事不错，演员们演技自然，对白写得也人性化，值得一看。
這部蠻好看。都交待的很完整。
難得看到男主很早追妻火葬場
劇情非常好，不虐也不托，男主雖有綠茶，但頭腦清楚，很快就排除，雖然婚禮上矢踪，但他是去驚告小三，而不是逃婚，從頭到尾對女主保護有加是真愛，團圓好結局是完美的😅😅😅
I think it's her right to choose leave them or stay with them because they deserve the punishment ❤

poor FL, in her entire life, she was being deceived by everyone around her, no ones were honest n they took advantages of her kindness
谁叫女主他爸搞外遇 想都知道 那儿子很高机率不是亲生的 这都是报应 个人觉得女主他爸是咎由自取 不值得同情 。

El cambio muy drástico de la personalidad de la protagonista, pasó de ser astuta, mimada, altiva orgullosa a una mujer sumisa sin motivaciones aparentes😮 Desde el inicio hasta la mitad del drama estuvo bien. Es agradable de ver.
I don't know if it's the translation, the actual dialouge, or the way the subtitles have been handled, but I am having trouble following what is going on at times.
Why in every such drama there's a girl whose only motive in life is to marry the ML.......who is writing this dramas?

I don't know what to say about this drama. It just gives ambiguous feelings. On one hand, the actors have performed well, but on the other hand, it can be seen that this drama is a tragic one where everyone lose because of their selfish interest.
