Bigfoot , Bob and Dan KINGS in the monster truck world
I met Dan in Columbus, Georgia a few years ago. He was getting Bigfoot ready for a show & I was surprised to see him "assembling" it alone.
He was a class act. I had pulled into where he was in my company truck & he answered each & every one of my 9000 questions & never seemed annoyed or even preoccupied. That's the way it should be. All too often, people in positions such as his can be short with observers or even downright rude.
Dan was neither... it was very cool chatting it up with someone who clearly loves what he does, but cares about the fans too.
Still the best Monster Tuck bar none! This takes incredible engineering. Also, best engine in the business I promise that.

I'm 43 now and Big Foot has been part of my life for most of it. I have seen Jim Kramer and Bob Chandler in MSG in NYC and Nassau Coliseum on Long Island so many times when I was kid. My dad brought me to so many of these events. This video brought back so many great memories. Thank you.

The best Bigfoot is still Bigfoot 4 - the first purpose-built Monster Truck. I remember seeing the radio controlled Bigfoot 4 at Radio Shack. I must've been maybe 5 or 6 years old. I wanted it so badly, but my parents wouldn't buy it. It was like $99.99, which was pretty expensive in the mid 80s. Later that year at Christmas I was completely shocked when I opened a gift and there is was - the Bigfoot 4 RC. I kept that Bigfoot well into my 30s even though the remote was gone and it was well used up. For so long I could not let go of it because of how much my parents sacrificed for that.

I wouldn't say that. USA-1 came out at the same time, as did a few others. Bob just did the first show.
cocacola150dr also USA-1 is being brought back for the first time in 20 years next year. everyone is excited. the OLDEST rivalry in monster trucks is about to be revived.

Big foot, gravedigger, etc. All of them are owned by the same company. Feld entertainment, they also own Disney on Ice and Ringling bros. Ringling bros might be closed now...

looks like he actually needed to floor the trottle just before he landed because he was landing nose first. if he didnt the front of the truck might have dug in on impact and went nose over end. anyone who has ever jumped a ramp on anything and landed nose first knows what im talking about. good driving by runte! . well done sir.
The back shocks on bigfoot was so soft that cause the nose dive like grave digger...........did u get it??????
I think it was because he was at full throttle already.
A local guy who used to run a truck in the smaller Monster Jam events told me that Monster Jam owns grave digger and Anderson is just paid to drive and tear it up. There's your politics.
This is a real jump I was there in the circle closest to the ramp that day and it was bad ass

Yo Bigfoot always been my fav mt loving the sc body !!but you'll get away with adding width to that body it will stay proportional to wheels although looks great now. and it will help to fly longer from air under body shell!

hm true but its a nice look at the modern monster truck, as they dont really do that much anymore since the early 90's on the old video tapes of monster truck action, I think its informative.
