I remember a dude on the train getting made fun of by some Mexican dudes. He was mad calm until we got to Parkchester in the Bronx. We all walked downstairs and my sister is trying to tell me what they had said. As soon as we step out the train station, the black dude drops his stuff on the floor, says something in Spanish and puts his hands up. Mexican dudes looked terrified. Watch what you say even if you think they won’t understand you.

Same here. They also forget that black people come from all around the world. My mom was born in the Dominican Republic but is still referred to as morenita. I love breaking out in Spanish and surprising the crap out of people. Especially when I start speaking with that fast Dominican dialect lol.

The same thing happened on my senior trip back in 93 to Orlando. The women in the stores were saying nasty things about all of the black shoppers in the mall. I spoke to those them and Spanish. I told them I understood everything them called them a bunch of b......s. I stood in their story's doorway for the rest of the time we were in that mall telling the black people what they said and deterring them from shopping there. Those women lost a lot of money that day lol still no regrets
