The Jacksons are selling their jaw-dropping hilltop estate outside of Nashville for a whopping $23 million, and pictures reveal a stunning property that most of us can only dream about.

The country music icon has listed his 5-bedroom, 8-bathroom, 22,012-square-foot mansion in the affluent rural Nashville suburb of Franklin, Tenn., which breaks down to an estimated payment of $100,594 each month, according to Zillow.

The official listing with French King Fine Properties in Nashville describes the estate as a "monumental stone residence." Architect Ron Farris designed the traditional, very formal home, which also includes 4 half-bathrooms. The bedrooms are lavish suites, while the formal dining and living areas are impeccably finished with arched doorways, oversized windows and elaborate woodwork that give the vast house an even more imposing feel. There is also a bar, a media room and multiple fireplaces both in and outdoors.

The exterior of the home is every bit as spectacular, featuring a pool with a pool house, a loggia, impeccably manicured and terraced lawns, an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit and climate-controlled garages that can hold up to 15 cars.
The house sits on a hilltop on 4.29 acres that offer sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, surrounded by 120 acres of green space. The gated property sits inside the private Laurelbrooke community, which has its own separate gates that are guarded 24/7.
Jackson is no stranger to lavish estates. He and Denise previously lived in a massive 18,622-square-foot antebellum mansion called Sweetbriar in Franklin, which Jackson modeled after Tara in Gone With the Wind when he had it custom-built. They sold that residence for $28 million in 2010.
The couple also owned a stunning lakefront mansion in their native Georgia, which they listed for sale for $6.4 million in 2017.

This is so different to the songs he sings about where he grew up,I've been to three of his concerts in Australia,travelled for thousands of kilometres to see him on some of the roughest roads in outback Australia,got to his concert and he sang one verse of here in the real world and other songs but when I went to see Bob Dylan,i really got more than my money's worth,Dylan just sings and plays the entire show.

Jackson likely qualifies for a Heavenly Mansion as well. He is a devout Christian and built his career and family on Christian values/beliefs. He also gives a million (or more) to Christian Charities, yearly. I really enjoyed his conversation with Huckabee several months ago, just a super regular kind-of guy with a big heart and full of Love of Jesus.
He is definitely not a ‘simple’ man when it comes to homes!!

Good night nurse!! I couldn't buy toilet paper for all them bathrooms. Then there is the possibility of getting lost in that big house!!! Even with oodles of money I wouldn't want a house that big. Imagine the electric bill, the landscaping bill, the pool guy bill, the cleaning people, etc. Then what if it needed a new roof? When you have all that money though you can pay those bills, but it seems like a big waste of money. I'll stay in my small log home! It's quite cozy!!
Also, you might have never ending company coming to stay, no personal time with family!
Running water, indoor bathroom with plumbing, and electricity, that’s what works for me.
I'm with you! Those houses where a joke. A bunch of Mc Mansions to keep the wife happy. Someplace dry to sleep and keep warm in is perfect. I would be fine with a hand well pump in the house like my grandma had in the house she grew up in. People work to much to buy shit they don't need and don't spend time with the ones they supposedly care about. Sorry for the Rant.

Im a normal sized house kind of guy....who wants a house so big, you don't even walk through it all on a regular basis....as gorgeous as it is, its just too much, unless you have a really huge family....vanity! But, maybe he did it, because he could....now, maybe wants something more simple....

Can't say the man doesn't deserve it! He worked year after year after year touring on a bus (most of the time). And I doubt he's "quitting" the business, but with all him and his wife have been through it's about time they think about slowing down a little, especially with their 3 daughters all grown up now. I'm happy for them (but I'll still never understand what ANYBODY does with a house the size of that one). Hope we get to see it all decorated up at Christmas time! I saw Mr. Jackson's home when I was on a cruise on the Cumberland and Tennessee rivers. His mother lived in the house next door.

I love Alan Jackson, have been a fan for decades but I just don't get out to the concerts anymore, I don't like traveling like I did when I was younger, plus ticket prices are just too rich for my blood anymore (and that too isn't just Allan - they're all doing it - so my concert days are over. Glad I got to see him nearly 15 times tho LOL).

Often these folks buy these big houses is so they can hold on to some of there money instead the money going to taxes. Keep it instead of the Government stealing it. And the R E investment can always be sold to get the money back.

Why live like that when people are starving! I like his songs and he and family seem nice! But isn’t 4500 sq. ft. enough? To live nice. I am retired on a fixed income. But when I see someone in a grocery line I feel they are stretched I offer to pay for them. I shouldn’t say this!

I would perceive these mansions as wonderful hotels, and I have to say I'd prefer a less massive, grand, more "homely" residence to live in here below. With a great garden, and a place for domestic animals to play around in. Also, I'd want to feel at ease with friends coming, and "ordinary" neighbours living around me. I'm a Christian, and I would never be that "flashy". My allegiance and treasure is not primarily in this world. However I wish folk well who enjoy this!! BUT time moves on, and all this material stuff will soon be history............please reflect. Sincerely.
