If we have fellowship with the true Jesus, will he guide us to salute, praise, exalt, and pledge our lives to a piece of cloth which represents a nation that is drunk with the wine of unfaithful city?

Good message. However, it’s important not to make a cult out of Jesus, meaning that sometimes people focus too much on “what would Jesus do” - and emphasise that on daily activities and actions forgeting fellowship with Holy Spirit, the rest of the Scripture (excluding Jesus) and Jesus’s great comandment: spread of the Gospel.

I agree! I'd also say fellowship with the Holy Spirit is fellowshipping with Jesus Himself. Perhaps the greatest calling of a Christian's life is to become like Jesus. As we delight, meditate, and know Christ (abide in him), God gives us the fruit of His Spirit and the natural outflow is our committment and determination to the great commission and our fellowship with Him!

One problem I have, you say that Jesus wasn't popular but thousands followed him into the wilderness to hear what he had to say, and at one point scripture says that Jesus left because if he had stayed they would have made him king

You commented a year ago- I hope you found your answers. Jesus was popular until they realized that they had to give up everything for Him --then they left Him. He requires that we deny ourselves, take up our crosses and follow Him. He demands that we die. He demands that if they strike us on one cheek to turn to them the other also. He demands that we do no harm to our neighbor. He demands that we do good to others and deny ourselves. He demands that we love those who hate us. He demands that we bless those who persecute us and pray for those who shamefully use us. He demands that we do good and lend and expect nothing in return. He demands that we entrust our souls to our faithful Creator while doing good. That's why they followed Him in great numbers and also why all abandoned Him, the excitement was the draw; the reality of what is required was/is the dispersal. He demands that we die, and we keep dying for the glory of God.
And I promise you, Jesus Christ is worth it. So follow Him with who you are and all you have. God bless you. To God alone be glory.

Great question. If you don't look like Christ are you really a Christian ? I know I am in trouble.

So if we are suppose to "walk as jesus did" and he was our perfect example to follow, as in he observed the law perfectly, why then do we (Christians) not follow the levitical food laws, Saturday sabbath, biblical feast days.. ect? (Law of Moses)

David Lee, deut30:11 states "now what I am commanding you today is not to difficult for you or beyond your reach"
in Matthew11:30 yashua states "for my yoke is easy and my burden light"
In 1john5:3 states "this is love for God: to obey his commands and His commands are not burdensome"
Numbers23:19 states :God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
How do you explain these verses brother?

We are saved and have salvation through Jesus Chirst and His righteousness covers all who have sinned and transgressed against the law...but a heart that truly Loves the Lord then in turn desires to be obedient! JOHN 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. The old laws brought forth from Moses were expected to be walked by the people to be justified... but When Jesus came he said if we even think something we have committed that sin! He never wiped the law out of importance but actually made it more strict! We are not above the law becuase of His sacrifice! We will be judged on our actions but Jesus suffered that we may be counted worthy beucase he was worthy.
      Matthew 5:18
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
What I have understood in the Bible is we should be striving to follow the law. Some are pertaining to health and the promise for following those is long life ~ they are not wrong to follow! But the expectation of perfectionism can sometimes stifle the heart! Sew seeds of mercy to yourself... when our eyes stay on Jesus he shows us the way! ♡
      Proverbs 3:6
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
When our eyes stay on Jesus and we pray without ceasing...then our feet will remain on the narrow path. We should be happy to follow all the ways he has shown man to walk. I think it was simplified in the New Testiment because it was overwhelming for new Christians to grasp. But the law remains even in Heaven! Brother I am always blessed with each step I do for the Lord and every sacrifice I make in my life for him. Whether that be by abstaining from certain acts or sacrificing my own desires to walk a more righteous path. I pray you have peace in your heart and that God shows you how He is the savior not our works...works are the outcome of a heart of servitude ♡
