when i went black friday shopping everybody was chill no complaints or arguments the only “chaos” was traffic plus most people buyed their stuff online
I don't do shopping on "Black Friday". People go crazy in these store's & the parking lot's are an accident, waiting to happen. Plus, you can't find close to the store parking spot's. I can't deal with that stress & aggravation. 😬
Remember-Family comes first but it's important not to act like a little kid when shopping.

This is so true. I tried to make an effort to spend more time with my mother, since we were very close. If I wasn't able to spend time with her, I would call her & talk to her often. Even though my dad & I weren't as close, I still loved him. He died on May 6th, 2021 from some health problem's & I miss him. My mother passed away from a rare uncommon cancer & underlying other health issues, on May 7th, 2023. Your family might not always be here & it could be the last time you get to be with them.

One of the biggest ironies in the US is that we have Thanksgiving (meaning exactly what it sounds like), then the very next day Black Friday, where people are nearly fighting each other for items they want. It’s like, throw away everything you said and meant yesterday out the window.

I'm not sure if it's the same at every Wal-Mart, but I live in Louisiana and here in my town our Wal-Mart does black Friday all week. It used to be that 1 day. But they changed it not that long ago cause of the fighting and even people and kids were getting hurt. So it changed for all week instead. They put stuff out all week long so no one fights anymore. And it been working out good too as there haven't been any more fights since they changed it.

Sadly I know too well taking stuff for granted, even at the ripe age of 42. This video just hit me so hard reflecting back of my younger years and taking the time I had with family for granted. I shutter at how I was growing up and even in my 20s, all the missed opportunity, especially this time of year, I have one mom that's been gone since 2014, my dad stepmom that are divorced now for quite a few years now. I feel blessed to have had thanksgiving with my sister and my stepmom and their family, I meant so much this year, as the years go on I realize how much I miss spending time with family and how excited I get when the holidays do come and I get to spend time. Moral of the story folks do not take the time you have with family for granted.
