The player with the most basics in his deck goes first next time
I like this, but it gives Mono color decks too much of an advantage
@@schumerus6786 Mono colour decks are at a disadvantage in the actual game, so I think it's pretty fair
@@originalusername295 Mono black is not to underestimate, it has quite some combos
@@schumerus6786 Sure, but it's still automatically weaker than any two or three colour deck that has black
@@originalusername295 Urza, Godo and Yisan are all mono coloured decks. There are also decks that would do well at a lower power table such as Heliod and Yawgmoth. It's true that multi-coloured commanders can be stronger than these guys, but they aren't pushovers and would be happy to go first for free every game.
Beezy's constant interaction with the board and with the players made this hour long video super enjoyable, there was always something going on somewhere. I really liked this episode 2!
Us too, we should give me the retroactive win for interacting so much!
@@NitpickingNerds Totally! Haha
Agreed, totally pro-wraths/1 police player.
Thanks for having me on the episode! I had a ton of fun recording it!
You are liar and a cheater go away
Loved watching your Meren deck do its thing!
@@NitpickingNerds
@@ekplayscards EK, don't encourage him. I have seen his Meren deck too much.
@@ChainofCommander it’s not my fault that Meren is the most fun commander of all time.
LETS GOOOOOOOOOO! Wasnt able to Crowdfund this but glad you guys managed to get all the support you needed from the community!
Glad to have you as a viewer
Eric just chillin there mindin his own business quietly the whole game lol.
You've summed up every game with him! lol
These are perfect. I could watch a shuffle scuffle like three times a week and never grow tired of it
REALLY glad to here that!
For real guys. I'm sure actually playing the game and the subsequent editing makes it just as long as making any other video, but if making shuffle scuffle would make your job easier, 100% just as good if not better than your already super dope content.
Great game guys! Love how the high powered decks got off to a much slower start than the last game. Cant wait till the next episode.
We can't wait either!
That was a very good game. Very close. I was very happy to see a teferi's protection give beezy just that one last chance to try to climb back in.
He drew so bad to not win
Absolutely love your content! I'm still fairly new to commander and you really help me get a better grasp of the game. So thank you! Keep up the great work and please keep the shuffle/scuffles coming!
Beezy missed a purporos trigger 55 mins in from the assassin token, and during the final turn he could have just activated Purporos 3x to get the +3+0 needed to get the kill - but I may be wrong on these events
I'm pretty sure you're right about the missed trigger, but pumping wouldn't have killed Eric because of his Yawgmoth
I think the Purphoros got baby rifted the turn before and it wasn't shown being recast. They only showed Beezy casting felidar retreat, but he had 8 tapped lands (I'm guessing for Purphoros and retreat)
Oh you might be right!!! I’m safe from punting!
Am I wrong?: lightning crafter can't shoot tibalt. Can shoot only player or creatures. (23:30min)
@@MC-uw7ns I thought the same, but it's been changed to any target
Entertaining and interesting game. As a dedicated Yawgmoth player, the table’s reaction when the lord of Phyrexia hit the table (briefly) warmed my cold, gleaming metal heart.
Yawgmoth is a beast. I have a deck that's like 200 bucks all said and done and it really only needs a few more pieces to be somewhat viable in cedh
Cut to the center of the deck while shuffling, best art (as decided by the rest of the table) gets to go first
I love the player introductions. Gets me hyped for the battle !
Nice! All the Bills swag at the table lol. Must have been shots before they lost. Fevered suspicion is sooo fun in prosper. tons of treasures AND it rebounds.
Indeed it was!
This was a lot of fun! everybody fought hard, and the inter-person interraction felt like a real playgroup. Keep up the good work guys!
Nitpicking Nerds, Tim, and Eric; awesome show.😜 Thank you for my lunchtime entertainment.
Ultimate collab!
Great Job
Arm wrestle for who goes first next time!
Great episode, I really love these hosts and the two episodes thus far have been tremendous. Fun decks, not gimmicky/cheap, and interactive. Well done!
loved the episode! mostly the power level of the decks seems like what is actually played in my lgs!
Yeah they're pretty high up there on the power scale!
Can’t believe you guys got to play with Tim and Eric what a cross over!
The player who can fit the most grapes in their mouth goes first.
Also love the content, keep it up Nerds!
Love this idea!
thank you for making these type of videos!
Thanks for watching!
I love these episodes, the editing is so good and the mood is so fun
Wooooo glad you liked it friebd 🥰
Some nice editing guys! And a very fun game as well. Loving the series!
So great to see y'all play. Keep making these and I'll keep watching.
Your editing and effects get better each Scuffle. It's good watching you guys grow.
Super glad to hear!
Always sucks when the most fair deck dies first haha, unfortunate that muxus didn't do more. Great game everyone! Really liked Eric's deck!
Great decks all around, this was a fun episode!
Really well done! This was a great game, and well shot!
Thanks a lot! It was really fun to shoot and we can’t wait to make more (with better lighting and camera positions)!
Wow thank you so much hope to see! Some of y’all for gameplay sometime 👋😀🔜
I loved seeing all the interaction in this game. Beezy has made me want to build a Marchesa deck of my own :)
Edit: This game also showcased how the Monarch can make games interesting. Forcing attacks and providing every player with more cards made for a much smoother game, even with all of the boardwipes that were cast
Super close game!! Love this series, keep up the good work!
This is the channel that really got me hooked to magic, and the duels was very interactive and just seems more of a joy to watch then other channels.
Glad to hear it!! Can’t wait for the next few episodes :D
Great video! Love seeing The Queen get some play!
These gameplay vids are top tier, keep em coming boys
Will do, thanks!
Been looking forward to this, the first episode was fun to watch.
We hope to be cranking out more!
I really enjoyed this. The level of interaction is wonderful.
Thanks! I love playing the Queen for just this reason
Going first minigame - Titan Roulette:
Shuffle a Grave Titan and 19 basics into a pile.
Each person reveals the top card. If you flip a Grave Titan, you lose, everyone else keeps revealing cards.
Last man standing goes first. In the case of a tie, you shuffle the remaining cards and keep going.
If 2 or more players have Grave Titan as the very last card, everyone is a loser and the episode ends.
@@flurkoneko1671 probably. This is sort of a split second thing.
Very entertaining. Loved that well-tuned Marchesa list.
It was tons of fun to play!
Always here for more gameplay!
My inner Tibalt feasted on the shenanigans of this episode, so much anticipation and interaction. Thanks for another great episode!
Love having my favorite EDH channel also be fellow bills mafia members
Go Bills!
I like this take on high power casual. GG folks.
Love the introduction to everyone’s decks and the inclusion of their opening hand.
Ladies, get yoself a man who looks at you like Joe Cherries looks at Muxus.
Also, much love to Eric and the Bills. I'm from Boston but I'm married to a diehard Bills fan. Y'all had a great season. Much love.
Amazing show this is my new top 👏 magic group video now!!
Your editing is unmatched. Really incredible stuff. So cool watching y’all grow as a channel!
Thanks so much, really appreciate that!
@@NitpickingNerds my pleasure!
Great gameplay, this one was back and forth, and the interaction made the game exciting, and Beezy's Marchesa deck was a nice midrangey control, just my style.
I love where the deck ended up! Perfectly fair and midrange :D
I love you guys so much I'm totally building a roon deck now!!!!
Roon is really cool!
@@NitpickingNerds I see Roon. I click video. Easy as that
Just play it better than I did!
Roon was one of my first commanders and I’ll always have a soft spot for him. Instead now I have a really oppressive un fun Brago deck that no one ever wants to play against 😂
Love the easy tone you’ve set in these. They’ll just get better and better I’m sure. Improved editing from last time, and Beezy shuffled his hand a tad less😉 Good work.
Lol one beezy will be good
can't help but notice due to camera angles but beezy has the face of the joker, the nose of the penguin, and the hair of trump. this makes him the ultimate super villain
I’m here for these takes
I'm very dastardly
So happy with this series keep it up guys :)
Thank you :D
The player intros are top notch 👍👍👍
Thank you, thank you 😂
For next episode. To determine who goes first each player uses a deck with 30 plains, 30 shahrazad and the last player to remain after all the half life loss effects begins the commander game.
Joe cherries keeping the glasses on for his intro had me keeled over laughing. Thank you guys
Fun way to determine who goes first. Everyone closes their eyes. The SECOND person to open their eyes goes first.
ooo very tricky!
Oh i knew this is going to be a god day. Keep this insane work!
Just what I needed to see on a Monday!
Woooo
Another great episode!
This such a feel good moment I'm really out here living the life
You’ve got everything you need to live the life!
Hell yes you are. Look at us, living the life
Wow you guys all had answers for everything for the longest time that was pretty sick
That looks like a combo piece!...
Literally every card here....
Not my marchesa midrange :p
Awesome! Tim, your Van Gogh playmate is super nice
The intros are super cool, love that
Good episode can't wait for episode 3 😁
Super fun game loved it!😀
Thank you so much!
So much Buffalo, great video!
thank you!!
Joe, are we seeing criminals? Bills Mafia play MtG? Haha thanks for the entertainment legends. And I'm hoping Josh takes you boys one step further next year
Appreciate it, this was a fun episode!
@@NitpickingNerds am really enjoying it. Got a couple more minutes til the end of the video to see how it ends, loved the spirit this game was played in fellas. Appreciate you all 🤙
Really nice "good sleeves" today beezy. Gg guys
Ahh the perfect way to make Monday much better!!
Seriously! Cure those Monday blues
I have one critique of shuffle scuffle, yall should have amber dressed up as a referee and officiate the game
Judge Amber!
i got those same Norse Loki sleeves as the Meren deck, they go perfect with my shapeshifter deck lol
I like this simply for Joe's thumbs up in the deck intro!
and beezy said no one would like it!
You guys have the second best gameplay series behind the Command Zone. Do more key frame zoom in’s during scenes. It adds to the experience. Phenomenal work
The cat dragonair was a really funny line
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeees more EDH from one of my favorite MTG channel
Heck yeah!
Nice underdog comeback, Eric!
That’s his signature move lol
Whoever folds the best non- plane origami in 30 seconds goes first. Love the episode. Though if we could not card slap every play my ears would thank you 😆
The phasing out was a very slick touch 👌
I noticed how much I slap my cards after watching this lol my bad!
That was a great game!
Need my magic fix lol..wow what a ending ,love to see it. See u next time
Hopefully sooner rather than later!
@@NitpickingNerds neon dynasty? Could we see snakes samurai?
Great game!
Joe trying the Orange Cassidy gimmick. Love it!
Darnit, I told him nobody would get that!
@@NitpickingNerds AEW fans gotta stick together! 👍🏻
@@spider6539 I told beezy people would get it! 🥰
Let's go Buffalo! Love the rep
Ayyye another episode! Hype!!
Nice freshly squeezed impression Joe.
Thank you thank you
Really awesome game ❤️
Watching this really highlights why I am playing at the EDH kids table
I hope Joe or Beezy wins this one lol. Thanks for another episode either way!
I hope we win too!
@@NitpickingNerds well it was an amazing match lol. You guys should start having a Rule 0 conversation to show us how it's done too! I can't wait for the next one, keep being you guys.
I would love to see a debriefing at the end of the videos (or separate videos) where you discuss how your decks performed and how you view some of the cards (e.g., that card worked better than I though, I had this wasted card in my hand). It is one thing to see a game played out but another to get a better sense of editing a deck or playing it differently.
Ooh, love me some Scuffle Shuffle!
Us too!
Was looking at the disappointing release of the Kamigawa commander decks... But cheered up when I saw your video in my feed.
In it for the intros. Good game y'all!
Good fun, ridiculously close
Damn that was a game. Definitely did not and the way I was expecting it to. I think this is a good example of what happens when everybody is playing at a similar power level. These decks were loaded with combos, and it basically came down to a combat damage slog lol
Love the flashy intro of players/decks/hand by the way lol
Beezy got some crazy hits with Fevered Suspicion, what a fun card!
It did not disapppoint!
I'm digging the music you are using in this one.
I just checked out Moxfield because of you nerds and it is fantastic!
A great was to go! The site is gold!
great episode! I love the playmat from tim and need to find it somewhere! I couldn't find it on the dragon shield website to directly support my favorite nerds with the affiliate link :(
To decide who starts everyone tells a joke then the table decides what was the funniest
As a non-commander player, watching the bant deck was everything I love in magic and now I know why decks like Chulane would be absolutely miserable to play against. Roon was bad enough haha, which sucks cuz I’m sure it’s so fun to play, especially with counters.
Good Job Beezy, you almost had it!!
I knowwww! Good showing from the deck either way, as far as I'm concerned I achieved personal victory as soon as I transformed Path of Mettle
The player intro. is great!
Glad you enjoyed it!
