I love visiting NYC. Luckily, I have a friend that lives on Long Island but grew up in the Bronx, so he shows me all the local places. We avoid the tourist traps, even though a couple of trips ago I made him take me to Time Square. But he knows a ton of hole in the wall places to eat and hang out. A lot of fun.
Visiting, yes. Living? Hell no. I lived on Long Island my entire life and couldn't imagine living in the city.
Dubai is a facade, and you cant be free there. New York has that life you’re talking about.
And NYC isn't? All big cities are facades.
My office building has destination elevators. I’ve gotten so used to them, if I enter a regular elevator I’m often standing around assuming the elevator knows where I want to go. My office building is 2 blocks away from this building.
The Empire State Bldg. is approaching its 100th birthday.
The WTC would be celebrating ts 50th birthday.
@@hifijohnwould be? What happened to it?
@@chwillsie 9/11 happened to it.
I’m worth $63 million Vietnamese dong 😂
You mean ₫63 million
I reserve all your dong 😂
Grats on your shed.
Lol it's round about $2600
Does anyone else think almost all of that art and chandeliers look like an eyesore? The whole interior has the color scheme of a public restroom
It is very stark and the place feels sterile and cold- not welcoming
I agree. Not a fan of this place at all. But I'm not one for big cities or fancy penthouses anyways.
It is staged for showing. Once someone moves in, they will put their own spin on it with personal items.
Fingerprints are the maids problem Daz...
Love these videos, check out another city "INSIDE THE MOST LUXURIOUS $32,000,000 OCEANFRONT PENTHOUSE FOR SALE! ROOFTOP POOL! MOVIE THEATRE!" Miami penthouse.
“A local school kid sticking shit on the wall” 😂😂😂
a lot of the pent houses have different elevators you have to put in a card just to use it then it only goes up to the top floors. nothing below.
You bring up an interesting question about NewYork City being the most iconic city on Earth. What city is the de facto Capital of Humanity? Would that also be NYC?
Paris? London? NYC? LA? Tokyo? Hong Cong? Shanghai?
@@bbadlar3I thought about London but went back to NYC because the UN is there.
@@Yarpon - and it's UN week right now (for better or worse).
america is the world capital (for now anyway) and inside america new york is the capital when it comes to total human activity so i would say yes new york city is the capital of the world in theory
what is a de facto capital of humanity? sounds made up
We’re 20 minutes in and we’re seeing the first closet. I’ll trade 1/2 the views for closets
Nobody living there lives there full time. I guarantee you NONE of those upper cabinets in the kitchen are getting used.
Did I hear that correctly? There's 4 elevators? I can understand having 2 since you'll need a service elevator for moving large items, but 4??
man.would be neat to live that life for maybe a week.
I think Mike's house is something similar to that.
I’m afraid of heights and so much of this video makes my stomach do flips.
That fresh air feature here 8:04 is not the kind of thing you would ever find in high rises in Moscow. They need windows that open wide for all the opposition leaders to mysteriously fall out of them.
its almost sad as an upstater to watch this😢
As stunning as that place was, I thought some of the rooms, kitchen, eating areas was to closed off for my taste. I'm used to the more open floor plans.
I wouldn't want to live there. It would take me all day to clean the place !
Tokyo is Japan NYC
Not impressed with this penthouse. It like you guys said it’s too narrow. And the the features don’t impress me either. Kinda disappointed ☹️
I guess your guys channel is not part of the interactive CZcams channels yet, because i was saying stuff, and nothing happened..
I feel you, they might be just having fun and not caring about growing their channel; because the majority of the people that watch them are adult I believe and they react to some teen stuff. Anyway, I love when they react to videos like this. Cheers!
There are a few cities in China with a crazy amount of skyscrapers
Speaking of which, another thousand kids just died for lack of funding for organ transplants, and their families has to watch them die in horror and silence because money is God. Totally don't go all Robespierre on the people making these buildings. That would be wrong.
I’d buy it
One-pound fifty blip blops sounds cheap as chips, to be fair
I'll be moving in next week...lolol..jk
I know it's a big city and everything, but I can't understand paying millions of dollars for what's basically a room in someone else's building.
New York has the best of everything in the world and the worst of everything in the world. You just gotta know where to look.
I would be single and smiling every night😁
I will never understand why people enjoy looking at a city full of man-made buildings when in the same country we have some of the most beautiful mountains, forests, rivers, nature, that for that much money you could buy a mansion 10 times the size, have the amenities but all to yourself, plus a thousand acres of your own land and insane, natural landscapes. To each their own, I guess, I just wish I understood.
Me neither. Not a fan of cities or fancy penthouses. I prefer natural landscape over buildings.
It’s personal preference, people are allowed to like different things.
@@terrymac6 Guy said in the very comment you're responding to "To each their own." I think it's pretty clear he already knows that.
Some people actually love crowded areas. They like being "in the middle of the action" and the hustle and bustle that would grate on someone else's nerves they actually love being in the thick of. Plenty of people - as weird as it may be to you or me - just really love the big, noisy, constantly active city life and would go mad living in a nice quiet country side, even in a big mansion with all the amenities.
The openable doors way up on the 76 floor.... Good way to get rid of evidence.
I'm the kind of person where none of this impressed me because I don't care for big cities or fancy penthouses. I'd rather live outside the city in a much more simple home with plenty of natural things surrounding me. So when I hear how much it costs all I can think is how much of a waste of money it is.
I would never want that place. With those windows and kids I would be afraid someone would go thru one down into the street.
I'm thinking it would take less than a jet airliner to take that building out.
I feel like people who say, "If I had $63 million dollars, I would never buy this crap," don't really understand that the $63 million dollars is supposed to be peanuts for the people that are actually buying these types of properties. In this perspective, the penthouse is actually a nice gain and worth to buy, because they barely spent any money for it.
interesting pov
yes. if you have 20 billion dollar you can buy this penthouse, a villa in spain and one somewhere cold to ski and you have still most of your money+ you can sell it anytime you want.
this penthouse would be my dream. i couldnt live on the ground or in a house. i would be paranoid that someone breaks in :D
@Mt2pserverGplays With 20 billion, buying this is the equivalent of having $20,000 and buying something for $6.30. You won't even notice it.
