Bad use of Chidori would only hurt Sasuke. The only thing that I agree on is Sharingan's precognition, but I'm not sure if that's enough in this case.

yea... i'm kinda confused, they carry modern tech and yet they are stuck in what looks to be edo period japan...
I think they only use technology to make things that'll do what they can't do with Jutsus (or at least what the people on that team can't do), so it creates a weird crossover between what seems like feudal Japan and modern days.
Maybe it's set in rural Japan, where modern technology exists but is still expensive so they haven't adapted it completely.
