About Junkyard Truck:
Junkyard Truck is an open-world off road driving, mechanic simulator, and job simulator. Start by buying an old truck from the junkyard. You'll need to replace some worn out or missing parts, and then put it back together and hope you did a thorough job. Once you get it running, you can use your truck to complete off road missions and jobs to earn some money. When the missions get too tough, visit the auto parts store to buy better engine parts, wheels, drivetrain parts, or accessories- or you might have to scavenge the junkyard if you're low on funds. Jobs and missions pay well, but you'll need to use that money to maintain your truck. When you think your truck is powerful enough, and you have enough bankroll for major repairs, use your truck to complete some of the map's challenges, such as races, rock crawls, hill climbs, and very destructive long jumps.
If you're not good with mechanics, don't worry. Your truck comes with a fully illustrated service manual. The town also has a mechanic who can give inspections, or even make repairs if you have the cash.
- Fully integrated stock engine and drivetrain with over 60 stock parts, a swappable V8 engine with even more parts, and lots of aftermarket parts.
- Upgradeable parts such as EFI conversion, headers, drive gears, turbochargers, several off road tire options, and accessories.

- Miles of off road trails and roadways.
- Open world game with freedom to play how you want to play.
- Off road challenges; some which are difficult, others which are nearly impossible.
- Make money with heavy delivery missions, rescue missions, collecting junk around the map and recycling it at the junkyard. Or work for yourself by brewing moonshine, logging, mining, or pressing your luck at the pub playing Texas Hold'em.
- Day and night cycle, requiring you maintain your food, hydration, and sleep.

Indeed, besides, Drae did say that the devs said that this game can be pretty difficult and could take many restarts, if he buys what he needs for upgrades and fun, he could be pretty well off to do a more relaxed run of the game instead of the higher amount of thinking he used for Mon Bazu, he ended up thinking too much if I recall and forgot things unless it was extremely important.

My two cents: use the money for upgrades, you will need it in the long run for the race if nothing else, and we as viewers get to see more of the engine portion of the game, if for nothing else than seeing you fight the truck😀

In casinos it's a common thing that the house pays a bonus for pocket pairs - keep the $ as a 'bonus payout' and upgrade the truck. We all know you're going to need the $ anyways as much as you wreck...lol.

3 card poker - pocket pair leading to 3 of a kind pays 40:1.

@@FUGP72 - understood, I was just using that as an example of casino odds since it's the one I'm most familiar with. Drae had $300, 40:1 would have paid him $12K, but I understand that in hold'em there isn't typically a house bonus.
Holy shit! That ending was amazing! I'm so glad I wasn't taking a drink when the race started. As it was, I ended up wheezing so hard it hurt.
As for the money, I'd be interested to see some kind of upgrade to the truck. Maybe something that takes some work to install? I'm pretty impressed by the physics and detail of all the mechanics of this game, so seeing more of that would be interesting.
its a race and as soon as the air horn sounds he's like "what do I do?" like he didnt just try to start a race, but even if he did start he would have gotten run off the road with that other truck lol

Enjoy your game drae, it doesn't matter if something feels cheaty or not, it's just about having fun and making us laugh, and you already do an amazing job at that, so it's just on you if you think it's more or less fun
He is worried the series will end earlier than he was hoping for, probably. But I agree, spend the money. Maybe, if possible, on things that don't help as much or on less complex aspects of the game
@@DarthGTB well the game is still being worked on, the washing machines everywhere say that much, so the series won't end for quite a while, I'm sure here in a few months it'll end up like mon bayou and he will have a shit ton of stuff to play with

Check the lower left driver's side floor board for the emergency break. A lot of time on those old trucks there's a lever you push with your foot.
its not an emergency brake its a parking brake, because when you shut the car off there is nothing stopping the wheel from moving, with an automatic transmision there ia tiny piny to stop the transmission from rotating but shouldnt be using the tranny to stop the car from rolling away

@@monkeyoperator1360 Well both emergency and parking brake systems are designed very similar and are seperate from the hydraulic system. Also it kinda depends what the auto maker decided to call it.
@@geo5295 if you Dont use the parking brake i can almost 100% guarantee if you wanted to use it in an emergency it wont work

i say keep the money since all its really gonna do in the end is lower some of the likely boring grind for money. looking at the price of everything it doesn't seem like it's gonna break the game to much and just continue making content as usual. regardless its up to you in the end and can always go back if the grind is to much. "with or without us knowing" :)

Best episode of yours I've seen in awhile. Definitely keep the money and do truck upgrades. Brakes and tires first. Then NOS!
So, another nice activity that isn't maked on the map, is making your own moonshine. you need 6 sugar, 2 corn, 1 yeast, and some water. the still is located down the dirt road that leads to the tiny river on the map on the right side. you put all the ingreedients in a bucket, wait a couple days for it to ferment, and load it into the cooker. the cooker holds 4 buckets worth, so it takes 8 days to fill the cooker at most, and then the cooker takes time to run, cant remember how long. you fill the jars from town and i have no idea how many you can make off a full cooker, i haven't gotten that far yet. I also don't know where you sell the alcohol either
There is a blue container, with a v8 block in it. It's only the block, but it's a start.

As the eagles said take it easy
use the parking brake when ever you need to stop or slow down (SPACE BAR) especially when getting out. Hold the space bar until stopped and the truck wont move when you get out.
Use it, it mainly saves you grinding for several hours to get that money to improve the truck or something anyways.

Would love to see Drae dismantle an engine and build a V8 in that truck, but I wonder if that dolla has made the game too easy? 🤔
It just eliminates the boring gring for the player. In this situation, it gives us as viewers more content that isn't grinding for money, less grind for the player to be able to make content and overall that means more content on other aspects of the game like jobs, building the current motor, building the V8 motor, fixing both of the vehicles and just overall more gameplay that would otherwise not be seen until much later in the game.
Having a "money cheat system" ,like gambling in this case, can help a player enjoy the game instead of hating the constant grind, while keeping the enjoyment in the game as long as it's not abused.

Use the money for fun and upgrades make the truck nice! hopefully it helps you out and we can experience more of the game. just try not to go over the top Drea!

Dude that ending was absolutely amazing, I busted out laughing and it's been wayyy too long since I've done that, thank you so much Drea I've loved your videos since you first started playing tear down and that game about being a shrunken down child in the back yard.
I bought this game because of your 1st video.. Get the V8 block thats in the shipping container on the main road passed the cellular building and upgrade that with the money and buy a winch. I did the radio tower mission and man that climb I barley made it took my 2 days with fully upgraded 4 cylinder and mud tires. I just found the v8 yesterday otherwise the climb would of been cake as well as racing

Use it to buy brakes, the turbo, and lots of weld wire. Use it to fix that door, and your busted truck frame from that tail ramming you got.

There's a special something at a house. It's near the qaurry, just urn towards the little shoot off in the road. Trust me. It dosen't do anything but it's still cool. If you watched Camodo's vid's you'll know what it is ;)

Alright, emergency brakes in most older model trucks, is a pedal on the left hand side you push with your foot, and pull handle release just above it, also, that was a water tower, not a radio or cell tower.... Try again drae.
And yes fix your brakes.
