yeah exactly,, also not just early game, latr game too,, I like to use novaria and shoot into the enemies base and hopefully catch a few enemies, even if they don’t die they have to go back to heal and this helps especially if my team is taking lord
Novaria isn't the best pick in ALL scenarios - especially in this current support meta where healers can just heal back all the damage Novaria deals - but she seemed like a pretty good one here so idk what Lolita's talkin' about lol

I THINK the reason why Lolita is hesitating about Novaria is the ally team composition. Novaria is a single target hero, and Lolita is AoE hero. When Lolita ults, it's hard to engage a combo because of the difference between the hero! But, it really DEPENDS to the PLAYER 😅😅 If they are skilled enough to target the main threat 😅😅
Yeah this. I'm not a mage main but my main pick is Novaria. When lolita ults, Novaria ult should go down at the same time. Then u can use ur first skill to do DOT when enemies are stunned...and with the increased hitbox, Novaria's snipe is hitting 2-3 targets easily...it's all about using your hero smartly
Novaria is the mage I play when I want to chill. Your kill count wont be high but look at highest damage dealt after the game. I think it makes teammates go "holy nova just halved this hero's hp" and go ham
Valir if you want a mage with a good balance at CC and mid-range combat. Novaria if you are long range Flameshot Master. Nana if you wanted to troll everyone with a Molina in a teamfight.
My experience as well. I ended up with 130k damage in a short game. I only had like 4 kills but my team had multiple. All the finisher assasins ended up getting many and most of the time the enemy MM couldn't even join the teamfight as I was aiming for them.

I think another main problem with her is that she's a "selfish" mage (or maybe solitary mage is the right word for it?). Usually, with other burst/utility mages, just having them in the vicinity makes your enemy think twice about approaching your teammates, especially the squishy ones. In Novaria's case, the enemy isn't deterred at all, since Novaria has no CC, has a wind-up time for her main damage skill, and will literally leave you behind if shit hits the fan. You can see this in the above video, where Beto literally uses his three tanky teammates as meat shields for him to snipe enemies in peace from far away. She's "chill" to play precisely because you're always in the back while your teammates are getting murdered in the front. lol
Nah, I initiate teamfights..sure Im the one at the back...but I also have the most range...novaria should play aggressive...doesn't mean brainless ,but always sniping and lowering HP( just like Xavier) trust me a good novaria will have mm and mages afraid to leave base. If my friend or me plays Novaria you're guaranteed to have backup at all times and easy time picking off mm and mages ( they're always at half HP or less)

Her S2 is a rocket launcher, sure, but most brazen divers will take their chances since they know it has a wind-up time and has a good chance of missing if the player... isn't skilled.
In real teamfight or clashes. I have never seen mages goes in the front to take the damage. What novaria is doing is she is making a lot of damage for the enemies to think twice before engaging again since novaria is constantly poking them and reducing their HP

Novaria is just my favourite mage. I always used to have trouble playing mid cuz I cant manage my rotation and lane clearing well enough. Novaria just solve that prob. She has insane wave clearing speed and can rotate pretty fast. Ofcourse, the most satisfying part is shooting nuts on your enemies.
@@octopuscreations6975gord too… but the problem with them is that they’re too slow, unlike chang’e, nova and pharsa who has movement buff skill,vale is fast too and lou yi could literally just teleport. Clearing fast is not really a huge advantage.

Novaria still a quite good pick even in the support meta now, beside poking with 2nd skill her use is also opening map and also make the enemy appear in the mini map for 8 sec... That ult can make a huge game changer like when a lord set up so ur team could take the lord easily with out warry about where the enemy is

Not everyone will understand how powerful Novaria is. Her utility Ult is insanely good in teamfights and her damage is pretty decent too. She's a poke hero so maybe that's why she's mistaken to be bad? Or is it the damage nerf on lighting truncheon? If anyone knows please let me know
She's not really rated bad perse, she's just a skill locked hero, anyone who doesn't have a good aim will rate her as "bad" she's one of the most ban in MG for that reason, anyways the reason she's rated bad is probably low ranked players who doesn't understand the value of vision.

nova's ult is crucial for map opening to zone out enemies within an area and have nice damage once stack and skill hit on enemy at max distance, which is why i loved using novaria 💗 nice play as always Betosky sensei
Novaria is pretty good but if she has headless chickens as tememates it doesn't matter, she can't really carry the hole teme. Simply because all her teme is so stupid to understand who is carrying them that when the enemy teme is focusing on her only they would just run away from her and let her die and with her all the teme. This is why I never lost a mach with her in the enemy team, they always would die first or let her die first and with her the base.
I feel Novaria is the mage version of Lesley. It takes alot of items to make her effective and scary… but until then, you need to play very cautiously.
One little tips for novaria ... Don't go inside the wall while stacking her 2nd skill instead go near the wall .. it will help u to stack 1-2 more stacks ... 😊
Currently most mages dont need cod no more cus of the recent patches about magic damage, thus only buying the blue orb(forgot its name) for mana early on and selling it later in a match

tbf in betosky-less solo q, you kinda have to count the scenario where you're playing tower defense games (a lot). and theres so many other heroes in the meta that are better on that task alone. but im still gonna pick her for the fun factor alone.
NOVARIA is basically a Spotter and poker mage to specialise both to slow , Use ULT to see advance like a Uav and of course perfectly Cut Skill 2s Not meta due to the sets against dashers but still good and fun mage
Two situations where Novaria couldn't really shine is when the opponent has a lot of mobility heroes or your team is trolling/play badly from the beginning and you had to play defense. Aside from those, she's a real headache..
the problem with nova is the gap in range and cooldown between her skills. either win big or miss everything and it makes many players appear bad when they use her.
That's why u use the entire combo, Ult, 1st skill, 2nd skill and flame shot are all part of a combo, not just her snipes. So this way even if you miss your big damage, you still dealt damage, open up the map and provided vision. She is indeed a skill locked hero, but even if a good Nova player misses the 2nd skill they're still useful
Novaria lacks something against fighters and tanks or even tanky mages or mm with Athena or rose gold. I think it’s better to make only 2nd skill to deal true dmg just like Lesley. Or tweak 2nd skill passive phase to scale penetration(something like 50%, 70, 90) based on stacks while keeping same dmg output. It makes her balanced against all compositions. It doesn’t make her op as heroes can dash or dodge away easily her just like Selena
If you use novaria to target tanks and fighters ur using her very wrong...she is utility(ult) and poke...she shows enemies and lowers HP..if it's a mm or a mage, you can almost rule them out of all teamfights if ur good with the 2nd skill. That alone makes her top tier. I've won all 20 games I played with her this season just because the other team lacks the dmg in teamfight after I snipe the mm or mage. she's solid and a buff like that will push her into the Perma ban list

personal opinion but i would change the clock into the crystal cuz lightning truncheon dont work with mana and anymore and it scales directly on ability power+you already have the book so there shouldnt be any mana issues
I always use Novaria as my roam. She's so strong when she has dire hit with the build: Arcane boots Lightning Truncheon Divine Glaive Genius Wand Glowing Wand Blood Wings/Holy Crystal I can really one-shot those mms and I can even melt those tanky heroes❤

I think a lot of people underestimate Novaria. Of course it also depends on the player / how you use her, but if you position yourself right she is quite useful. And yes she can rotate fast and I like a lot that she can go through walls, gives you kills but also good for escaping.
Of course easy mvp for nova , in the backline easily poking enemy for getting assist or kill. But still ineffective pick against rafa/mino/mathilda/ assassin's like ling or fanny.
The problem with novaria is she can deal huge damage but she cant do anything if her main dmg skill is on cooldown and she cant escape if enemy assassin caught you so you gotta be super careful about your positioning
As a Novaria player I had games where ppl was saying that Novaria is bad(even if I show them my wr and matches) and I even had 1 game where guy disliked my pick so much that he picked Layla and was throwing game…
i've run into a few players that are like this the only one i can remember i was gonna use alice in exp cause the enemy lacked cc and damage our beleric player said "NO ALICE!!!" and was so annoyed by her he instantly banned her and gave the enemy nolan and then was like report s4 report s4 at the end i was gold he was bronze

Novaria is a solid pick, no real counters because she fights from such a distance. Her skills provide vision and she hits hard.

Two situations where Novaria couldn't really shine is when the opponent has a lot of mobility heroes or your team is trolling/play badly from the beginning and you had to play defense. Aside from those, she's a real headache..
the problem with nova is the gap in range and cooldown between her skills. either win big or miss everything and it makes many players appear bad when they use her.
That's why u use the entire combo, Ult, 1st skill, 2nd skill and flame shot are all part of a combo, not just her snipes. So this way even if you miss your big damage, you still dealt damage, open up the map and provided vision. She is indeed a skill locked hero, but even if a good Nova player misses the 2nd skill they're still useful
Novaria lacks something against fighters and tanks or even tanky mages or mm with Athena or rose gold. I think it’s better to make only 2nd skill to deal true dmg just like Lesley. Or tweak 2nd skill passive phase to scale penetration(something like 50%, 70, 90) based on stacks while keeping same dmg output. It makes her balanced against all compositions. It doesn’t make her op as heroes can dash or dodge away easily her just like Selena
She's fine as is, she's currently the best Utility Mage out there. Don't fix something that isn't broken
If you use novaria to target tanks and fighters ur using her very wrong...she is utility(ult) and poke...she shows enemies and lowers HP..if it's a mm or a mage, you can almost rule them out of all teamfights if ur good with the 2nd skill. That alone makes her top tier. I've won all 20 games I played with her this season just because the other team lacks the dmg in teamfight after I snipe the mm or mage. she's solid and a buff like that will push her into the Perma ban list

@@GosuJinnyou all severely understimate her first skill capability to slow,zone out and break enemies pathways with it. Not to mention small cool down in mid to late game on it...

personal opinion but i would change the clock into the crystal cuz lightning truncheon dont work with mana and anymore and it scales directly on ability power+you already have the book so there shouldnt be any mana issues

Blood Wings/Holy Crystal
I can really one-shot those mms and I can even melt those tanky heroes❤

After the update on CoD, I only build it on Cecilion or Alice and for cdr heroes like nova and xavier I first build enchanted.
It's hard to win as Nova in the late game😢 plus my head hurts after using her for like 2-3x

I think a lot of people underestimate Novaria. Of course it also depends on the player / how you use her, but if you position yourself right she is quite useful. And yes she can rotate fast and I like a lot that she can go through walls, gives you kills but also good for escaping.

Very good mage. I usually take Cyclops againat her, no problem. Or Ruby. But if my team mates feed her, she is strong
I'm a novaria main and sadly people get mad when I choose her but end up being mvp most of the time :P
Of course easy mvp for nova , in the backline easily poking enemy for getting assist or kill. But still ineffective pick against rafa/mino/mathilda/ assassin's like ling or fanny.

The problem with novaria is she can deal huge damage but she cant do anything if her main dmg skill is on cooldown and she cant escape if enemy assassin caught you so you gotta be super careful about your positioning

As a Novaria player I had games where ppl was saying that Novaria is bad(even if I show them my wr and matches) and I even had 1 game where guy disliked my pick so much that he picked Layla and was throwing game…

No when you hit enemy from long range by your second skill it dealt more damage it won't procs more damage when your near enemy
i've run into a few players that are like this
the only one i can remember i was gonna use alice in exp cause the enemy lacked cc and damage our beleric player said "NO ALICE!!!" and was so annoyed by her he instantly banned her and gave the enemy nolan and then was like report s4 report s4 at the end i was gold he was bronze
