Happy birthday Jess! You can totally wear this bag in the rain because Ateliers Auguste treats their leathers for water resistance. I have one of their styles (the one that's a dupe for the Celine classic) and personally verified water beads and slides off the leather.
Wow I'm very impressed with this brand. They're so reasonably priced probably because there's no bs at all!

@@Jessiestyle actually come to think of it, if I'm remembering right Tanner Leatherstein did a deconstruct video on this brand and tested 3 liquids on the leather. His conclusion was that the only thing we need to watch out for with this particular leather is alcohol. So watch the cocktails at your party. ;P
@@JHT99 Alcohol is bad on any leather IMO, so PU would be the only resistant element there.
This brand has very reasonably priced small leather goods in particular card holders.
I just refuse to buy the overpriced nonsense being sold by LV, Hermès etc when they are just elementary design wise.

You’ve helped me decide on my next bag from Ateliers Auguste - this one! So, thank you.
I have the Mini Marly Gold Edition in Tan, and love everything about it. I’ve never had a bag before that made me this happy.
Just so you know, these bags are water-resistant and scratch-resistant (within reason). I don’t worry too much about rain, although I always pack a little Baggu eco-bag in case I have to put my handbag in it during heavy rain.

I got the same bag as you a couple of weeks ago!! I love it. Although it came in with a few flaws, customer service was super quick to get back to me and gave me a discount after trying to help. The only issue I have so far with wear and tear is where the chain rubs in the hoops. Despite that, for what I paid, I am super happy. Also, I agree that it smells good (:

Had my eye on this brand for a while - the half moon in the same colour combo as you. I believe it is a treated box leather so pretty durable and the hardware has real gold in it! Beautiful bag, congratulations

@@Jessiestyle I believe this is why you were selected Jessie because you tell it like it is. You have a love of good design but the fallout from Bedo reconstruction of the Hermès bag meant there wasn't an ethical way to discuss this other than to question the entire thing.
Not saying you've fallen out of love with Hermès but it's on a more realistic footing.
Which is exactly what we all need to hear plus you're open to exploring different brands. The clean lines of this bag is just so impressive. The structure is strong.

Be aware that some Chinese factories have set up shop in Italy so they can hace "Made In Italy" instead of "Made in China".
