Technic History:
The TECHNIC theme is characterized by the presence of axles, gears, connector pegs, and many other parts rarely seen in typical LEGO System sets. TECHNIC is still currently an active theme, and is one of the longest-lasting themes in LEGO history.
Almost all TECHNIC sets are vehicles, and thus use pieces to mimic real vehicles, such as engine pieces, suspension, pneumatic, and transmission pieces.
In recent years, System sets have begun to adopt previously TECHNIC-exclusive parts, particularly in the Exclusives and Star Wars sets. Many modern sets, including TECHNIC sets themselves, blur the distinction between the two systems considerably.

My 49 year old husband is making this at the moment, he only started last weekend, and only spends time doing it at weekends, but he’s already finding it challenging.
Out of all the Lego kits we’ve had in our household over the years, frequently I hear the words “there’s a bit missing”, but there not, there’s never ever been a bit missing.
I know how it feels... It's frustating 😂😂

Each generation gets better in my opinion. It seems like Lego did take quite an evolutionary leap from the GT3RS to the Chiron. Luckily I got my hands on the SP3, and Sian. Currently, I’m halfway through the Chiron build. They’re all uniquely amazing. The most impressive in my opinion is the SP3. But the one I find myself playing with the most is the Sian.
Hey uh idk if you already know this or not, but you can actually motorize sets that aren't already motorized like this one, the Chiron.

It's worth the money.I'm building it right now.Just started with the seats and interior.The gearbox, the engine, the body and how it fits toghetter is absolutely awesome to build.I've made some cool sets in the past like the mack truck, defender, rough terrain crane,...but this one is the best so far.I'm enjoying this so much I'm buying the Lamborghini Sian next.It's very expensive and I like to wait until most sets lower in price quite a lot, but building this car convinced me to buy it anyway.Those cars are expensive, but they are worth it.

8448 already had so many "beautified rounded parts", 8070/8653 even worse, I never liked that. When I think of good old ones from >20yrs back, I think of the black 8880 or my childhood hero 8865 (that's 30 years ago).
I always wanted that Black 8880 set, but my parents thought I was too young for it lol. I do have the 8070 set, but not the 8653 set as it was a bit too holey for my liking. Technic can be a hit or miss with me.

Is this worth $350? After seeing this the answer is a resounding YES. The amount of effort and skill just to produce this kit is mind bending.
I'm building it and YES IT'S ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE MONEY !!! It's a pretty challenging build and I'm enjoying it very much.Hats off to them guys at the LEGO company for creating these sets.It's an absolute masterpiece !!! The Sian didn't drop in price as much as the Bugatti yet because it's a recent model...but I'll be buying it somewhere next week.These premium sets are awesome !!!

I remember making this, just watching this makes my fingers hurt from all the hours spent on putting piece after piece of this car together, but it was all worth it in the end... 🥰. I also made the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, equally as challenging and frustrating, but was still worth putting on my shelf after the 3 days I spent working on it.
