This might sound so silly but I have bad anxiety and at nighttime I’ll just turn off the lights in my bedroom and open my curtain and just stare at the night sky and the only light that’s in my bedroom is the moonlight and I’ll just listen to this song and the whole album and it instantly makes me at ease and i always have something to look forward to in the days.

Tokyo is such an amazing song, it’s really well written and well said. It makes me get in my feelings. Earlier I was on my bed turned off my lights and turned on my speaker and blasted Tokyo while just laying there thinking about life. I’m glad he made mono, it really helps me get through life thinking that I’m not the only going through problems like panic attacks or getting stressed about work or worrying about boys or falling in love. I’m really happy he made this.

Mono is the best solo album to me, yes I loved Hope world, agust D, RMs first album etc but Mono, something about mono is different it’s very soothing yet relatable but also has some good bops on it. He also has all these deep meanings that people actually have to dig deep to understand like the album name for example or the true meaning behind this song. This shit hits different at midnight. I was feeling down some days ago, so I decided to listen to his album at 3am. I'd tried listening to Mono before, but I never really liked it and it never really hit me... until then. When I read all the lyrics and Namjoon's commentary, everything just hit so hard. It was strange how understood I felt. It was the humming in this song that had me tearing up, it sounded so beautiful yet so emotional and sad. I'm thankful to Namjoon for his art and the way he expresses his feelings and thoughts through it.
