Fawley Hill Steam and Vintage Transport Festival 2024 - Last Ever?

A visit to possibly the last ever Steam and Vintage event at Fawley Hill, the private railway (the steepest standard gauge line in the world), museum of the late Sir Robert McAlpine. The first part of the video features highlights from the railway, featuring guest engines from Didcot Railway Centre and the Foxfield Railway, plus the best model railway layouts in the museum. The second part features further steam action from the accompanying rally taking place on the field including footage of many traction engines, a tank, a few cars and some glorious sunshine!

Lord McAlpine passed away a few years ago and Lady McAlpine does not wish to host anymore... Although she seemed to be greatly enjoying the weekend's experience so don't be surprised if she changes her mind!
