People live on these incomes for years. You would have to give up all joy in life as a minimum wage worker to even really survive. Even going to school, you would have to go years and years not enjoying yourself at all. These millionaires couldn't dare. They most definitely waste money, and excuse it because their spending money is so much more than their bills lol.
This really shows my problem with "advice" from millionaires. They spend sooo much on stuff they don't technically need, and love to preach basic finance advice to people who are below the poverty line lol. I just don't see these people ever having that real struggle of not spending on ANYTHING enjoyable. Also spending all of that time saving and having some random event occur that knocks all of your savings out and you get to start the cycle all over again :)

Most people who currently make 6+ figures got their start from working minimum wage jobs or pursuing a college level education for years that set themselves up for the future. Millionaires don't just pop up out of nowhere, some have been through the exact same struggles people below the poverty line go through. And what's the issue with them spending their money how they please? You can splurge on "unnecessary" things and still be a great source of financial advice. One does not inherently cancel out the other.
