Thank you so much for posting this. Frank is my dad. He passed away almost two years ago and it was so wonderful hearing his voice again.

Thanks for the upload! I can't be the only one looking for retro gameshows on youtube!

I believe, hopefully Thomas Schofield can help me through, this episode was rerun either on August 24 or September 7, 1984 and the episode's code is F-110.

From the 1983-84 season. The Game Show Giveaway gimmick happened in early 1986 IIRC. Interesting that they edited out the fee plugs that came out of the second commercial break on most episodes of Tic, but kept the ticket plug(although Tic was still on the air in early 1986, but not for much longer). Game show reruns on CBN and USA didn't do as much editing out of those things as GSN does. This is from the 1984 SUmmer reruns given how the fee plugs appear at the end. The NASA layoffs mentioned in the news update appear to have happened on Friday, February 28, 1986 as per a web search.

Zach, you are probably right about the Feb '86 date. We have a bunch of tapes from that month because the VCR was brand new!

Dow Jones figure in the 1700s back then... compared to 35,000+ today...

I am not sure if I have any more game shows on tape, but if I find any good ones, I'll post them.

"You got anymore (Tic Tac Dough) episodes from 1978-86?" Syndicated Broadcasts, CBN, USA Network, and GSN is fine and can you upload more and to Dailymotion and others?

I have about 10 minutes of another episode from late 1985, but the quality is very poor.

So I guess you have only one more, I don't care about the quality, as long as I can see it or hear it, is fine.

This is not Game Show related, since you have CBN, do you have any SuperStation WTBS Commercial breaks from the 1980's?

      I am not sure.

I can never understand why folks avoid 5 when 99.9% of the time the dragon isn't there. the contestants must seldom watched the show!

Thanks So Much, I'll NEVER forget CBN airing reruns of Game Shows including Tic Tac Dough, BULLSEYE, Let's Make a Deal, Treasure Hunt, The Original Chain Reaction and its spin-off GO as well as The Original Blockbusters w/the late Uncle Bill Cullen and The Original Card Sharks w/the late Jim Perry Featuring a young Markie Post of The Fall Guy, Night Court & Hearts Afire, Face the Music, The NEW $100,000 Name That Tune, Break the Bank w/Joe Farago & Julie Hayek and Hot Potato w/Uncle Bill
God Bless You and CBN & USA was BETTER than GSN these days, I also LOVE BUZZR

Frank didn't watch the board very good. Didn't see that he could've taken Aquatic Biology for the win, buy it is what it is and the contestant screws himself over. Oh well, right?
