No but I would usually put in an extra rachet strap in the middle does leave a small rubbing mark so wouldn't recommend doing that on really nice cars but my old minivan no dramas
Fair call but I did explain how to install in the video. For anyone still struggling there's two caliver type straps one goes through the interior of your car the other over the kayak. Pull tight on both once threaded through the strap and i would recommend using a Rachet strap as back up.
Now I wanna see you kayaking like a boss!
Does the strap damage the interior of your car at all? I could imagine the straps put some wear and tear on the fragile ceiling liner.
Hey mate thanks for the question it hasn't damaged mine at all. But my roof is kind of ushaped so it doesn't really sit on the liner.
