Most, if not all, of these furniture groups are nothing less than grossly over the top, horrific and nightmare inducing monstrosities not reflective of any taste, refinement or elegance. Money cannot buy good taste. It is quite a shame as the artisans in Turkey have produced some of the worlds most incredibly beautiful chandeliers, Peirpoint style lamps, all done in hand cut crystal as well as the worlds finest carved furniture. To slap imitation gold leaf and coat them with layers of acrylic gloss is really just too bad. Seems there were quite a few Russians milling around there.
