Are you new to the game of CROSSOUT? If so, then you've come to the right place. In this video I will share with you some of the valuable tips and tricks that I have learned over the year or so of playing the game. This is pretty much anything a new player would need to know, especially instructions on what you have to do every day to progress. There are loads of tips all over youtube but none as simple and succinct as this, lots of stuff youtubers would overlook. Great job!

Why do so many youtubers not realise that co drivers are from lvl 30😢
They weren't always. At the time of this recording the whole co-driver system was very different. You unlocked them with tokens and had to unlock each skill. They also didn't have active skills

That is one simple and amazing tips video i have ever seen!
Sweet! I tend to over explain things, so I'm glad I was able to get right to the point.
Compounding on the stick together tip, I play with a few other guys in a group usually, split your team 4 and 4 and sandwich enemy teams, or send 2 or 3 to enemy base, then position the rest in between the enemys and their base
Sounds like a solid strategy. 👍
Great video for beginners and just remember you can buy all you want but you can't buy skill or experience better to start slow lrn the wpns and their strength and weakness's it's a great game just takes some time to lrn the in's and out's of it and what works and what doesn't.

PRESS F11! (twice) this will show your connection ping and what server you're on. That way you know what severs are best for you. Also learn what are the prime times for your local timezone or next best connection. RU and EU are generally always populated between them both. NA are about active half the time. AS and AU have discord communities to organize games to play locally.
I NEED MORE! This is so helpful. Shame xbox doesn't do server change to Russia but everything else is great. I would love some simple noob builds

Bring fuelbarrels to clanwars
Wedge your teammates
Play hide n seek with way too many enemies when you are the last one remaining with no chance to win
Bid 50 coins higher or lower out of the blue
Never ever use a repair kit during leviathan mission
Push a friendly spider off a bridge
Use a kaiju with nova and camp base
If you do 2 or more of these things, open the nearest window and throw your pc or console out of it, you arenot worthy 😂
I admit that I DO play hide and seek at times, especially when my team gets wrecked in the first minute and I'm using my Incinerator build with full health remaining. I can usually take down several enemies before they cap.

How do I get into campaign mode or the "Awakening mode" it's probably in the video but I don't see it.
Choose "SELECT MODE" from the main garage just below the "BATTLE" option. This will take you to the world map tab. Look for a blue icon with a car and a sunset behind it. This is the "ADVENTURE/AWAKENING" mode. Let me know if you need any more help!

I sow some blueprints have automatically fire but when i buy that weapons it's not working properly
I think the auto fire builds you are talking about are LEVIATHANS. The main garage screen at the bottom in the middle next to your vehicle is an option to build a leviathan. You don't drive these vehicles, instead you send them out against other players and they will "automatically fire".

Thanks! The TRAIN PLOW can be acquired by joining the SCAVENGERS faction. The first plow is unlocked at level 7 and the second one is at level 15.

For number 13, is this actually true? In the description of the barrels it says they do not stack. Did they change this or is this a bug?
Yes, but let me clarify. The FUEL TANK is not the same as the FUEL BARREL. Stacking 2 or more FUEL TANKS will only earn you 10 units of fuel, while stacking 2 or more FUEL BARRELS will only earn you 5 units of fuel. That's why you should only equip 1 of each in order to earn 15 units of fuel. I hope that makes sense.

To add to the barrel situation: BARRELS DO NOT STACK! Only use 1 small and 1 big barrel!

for 19, i wouldn't recommend that unless you lost couple teammates or your weapons right start of the game. because unlike similar games, a lost with couple kills and assists gives more rep than a sneaky base capture win. This is very rare for genre actually.
Crossout is a little different.
Winning the match is the only way to earn free fuel and if you lose the match you get significantly less resource rewards.
@@TCS23 You are right. actually as a casual player i spending free fuel, finish dailies and close the game bu ofcourse someone with plenty of time and wanna grind most effective way each win matters.

Which tips are applicable to PS4?
Most if not all of the tips should apply. I wasn't sure if binding weapons to separate buttons works on console, that's why I gave that disclaimer.

The thing is i dont know how to do the stuff in the video like i cant honk my horn or emote, idk how to bind weapons, idk how to do missions, idk how to but more parts.
Hey man, sorry I didn't cover those details. Most options are unlocked through playing the game. You mainly do that by going to "Select Mode" from the main menu and choosing the Mission "Get the Scrap". Eventually you will unlock other game modes that will give you different resource rewards. Any button functions that you're unfamiliar with, you can discover by going to the settings menu in the upper right hand corner and looking for controller settings.
@@TCS23 oh ok thanks, but i did try looking at the input settings but when i use them in game nothing happens, I did screw around in the menus and stuff and figured a bit more out. Thanks for responding to this comment on like a year old video
@@alexandergreig5576Hmm, I'm not sure exactly what the problem is without seeing it for myself. Could depend on if you're using KBM or a Controller? I play on PC and my PS4 controller doesn't work even though there are controller settings in the menu.
I try to stay engaged with my community as much as I can, I think it's important for content creators to do that, even if it's regarding older content. 🙂

Yeah, it's a grind if you're trying to play for free, but it still has good replay value imo.
Mini map rotation isn't always good. Most of the time is good, but at any sideways or backwards build it can be worse and more confusing than just non rotating minimap. For me it's easier to have minimap rotation off, it's not that hard to get used to it

The buying and selling almost never really works no matter what i do unless I quicksell, and I've been playing for about a year now. I happens because I just keep getting undercut and sometimes I undercut them by 1 cent then someone else undercuts me and then I would keep doing that for hours. When I don't do that and I do what you said to do in the video. Most of the time the item never sells. After a day or two of waiting for the item to sell I normally just give up and quicksell.
Bummer, I'm sorry man. The technique I mentioned in the video almost always works for me, but then again I'm usually trying to buy *(edit: or sell)* epic parts. What parts are you having trouble with? I'll see what I can come up with to help you out more.
@@TCS23 I can get resources to sell easily but I normally sell epics and specials and it's rare for them to sell without getting undercut, but I don't have any problems buying parts, just selling. Now I have a new method of making money because electronics and plastic are pretty profitable right now. I play on (xbox) by the way so market prices are very different form the PC market.

My pro tip about selling parts fora ya, Just check "buy price" set minimal or whatever You choose, and then just Wait some Time. In this week ive crafted 4 colossus engines and every single one was Bought in approx. 1-3h after placing it on market. Never do that thing with lowering price, be smart, and outsmart others :D
@@Szymonicus how did you make 4 colossus engines in a week? Doesn't the scrap metal limit prevent you from crafting that many?

Most of the beginner guides are outdated, so I have been working on one myself. Its a ways out from being finished since I have other videos I'm working on as well, but if you're subbed and have notifications on then you'll be the first to know when it releases.

Well, because it means you won't pay more than you need to for buying an item and you won't earn less than you need to for selling.
Example: Other players want to buy the same item as you, so let's say it's selling for 20 coins. You COULD offer 25 coins which would likely sell faster, but you would be spending more than you have to when you could just offer 20.01 coins.
The same would go for selling an item. You want max profit, but so does everyone else, so if you sell one cent lower, then you would be offering the best current price for that item without sacrificing anymore loss in profit.
I think you know that crossout would maybe get a big hype
Crossout is pretty much the only game I play, aside from Rocket League and a few others. I know one thing, I'm hyped for the new battle pass!

I find it a lot easier for map orientation. That setting is really more of a preference.

The single greatest improvement to the game is changing our region to Russia. That cut my wait times down to 3 - 30 seconds! The devs are in Russia, so it makes sense that the majority of players are located there.
Formerly, I waited 30 seconds to 4 minutes for a scrap metal match

Hey, just curious, did the server switch affect your ping? I would think it would be more laggy, but if not this might be something I try out
@@COOPERx223x If you have a decent internet connection it shouldn't be a huge jump. On PC you can press F11 and it will cycle through your ping and connection stability. Otherwise, it's easy to switch back if it doesn't work for you. 🙂

I do not agree with the fact that I have only a cent of margin on sales, I take a look at the price trend of the last month and I try to put an intermediate price but that gives me at least some margin coins
Tip #10 means you shouldn't outbid someone MORE on an item you want to BUY than is necessary, and you shouldn't undercut someone LESS on an item you want to SELL than is necessary. Raising or lowering the price by .01 coins will ensure you have the best bid at the best competitive price.

2022, started playing a couple days ago, and my problem with the golden rule "stick together" is: I don't have long range weapons outside of the Avenger 57mm cannon
As a newbie, sticking with the others often means I have to stay idle OR ambush enemies.
But the word "ambush" in an online game means "camping", it's not exactly something people are praising you for
Crossout is a unique game with 8 players on a team, often with up to 4 of them being AI means every game is going to have a different outcome. I made another tips video on winning matches, that might be of use to you. 🙂

Tip 22--> make sure you get enough points to get patches/rewards otherwise just by winning with your team will not give you the win to complete mission. YOU HAVE TO GET POINTS! If you die early you can check by Start and rotate info.. anything less that 20 with no parts or equipment destroyed will not help.. you will not complete your mission.

I won't deny it's a good game but it's focus on pvp to earn scrap at the beginning makes it less appealing. Yes you made a video explaining how to earn scrap easy but if you are a 100% free to play player then this is useless. You need to include in your videos that they only truly apply if you have the battle pass. I say this cause getting to 4000 ps is almost impossible if you are new.

Call me dumb but why would u want to bid a cent higher when buying and vice-versa on selling. Wouldn't that cause u to use an extra cent when buying and loose a cent when selling. Buy high sell low ..... that's what u said we need to do. It doesn't make sense that's backwards
What I mainly want you to take away is to not use the quick buy/sell feature.
My Market Guide explains in more detail why you shouldn't do this, but I will try to explain.
Here's an example:
Let's say the highest offer to BUY an item is listed at 100 coins, and the lowest offer to SELL is 200 coins. Using the quick buy option means you would have to pay 200 coins. Yes, it's the lowest offer, but you're really just "buying high". Instead, you could go to the item's market tab and manually enter in 100.01 coins. This would mean you now have the highest offer to buy, but it would still be considered "buying low" compared to the 200 coins you would have paid.

dont listen tot he 1 cent buying or selling tip, its a fools tip, when you do that to me, i drop the cost by 15 cent, then 50 cent, then $1 then $20 and so on till its cheap enough for me to buy yours, then sell mine and yours for the price i wanted to sell mine originally for, you lose money i gain profit from both, like i said a fool's tip....
