This video is part of a series meant to introduce the Society for Creative Anachronism to new and potential members. The Arts and Sciences are the terms given to all of the things people make and do in order to recreate and experience the past. From historic clothing to medieval cooking, the Arts and Sciences are aspects of the SCA that pretty much every member participates in. This is a brief introduction to some of the categories of topics covered, but any one topic could take a lifetime to fully explore. So if you dabble and enjoy trying different things or if you enjoy digging deep into a topic, there are many ways to explore the past with the Arts and Sciences in the SCA.
