- I finally got all of the achievements on a game! That game is one I've been addicted to lately, and it inspired me to write a hunter inspired song in tribute. Bloodborne has an awesome aesthetic and atmosphere, and it really just made me want to write some music.
This is also the first single from Dystopian Fiction, the next album and the prequel to Building Better Worlds!

The night has ended. As the Yarnhamites looked outside their windows, they saw a sight they though they would never see, so encapsulated in their despair: the light of the sun peering out of the dawn.
After recovering from the splendid sight, they set outside to clean the mess. The men and women both went out of their houses with sponges, water, and generally cleaning material, to clean the blood of men and beasts, severed limbs, and things they did not know. The children were to stay inside, and were told to not look outside the windows.
Such a phase happened after each night of the hunt.
"I came here for the blood, I remain as a shell of who I was. But I will end this for everyone, that is my Hunter's Promise."
"And fire won't scare the monsters sober." Oh man, that line gave me super chills. Love it.

For the fire, for the beast etc. lines gave me goosebumps. The older I get the more I can relate to this song, perfect analogy of life in trying times.
Especially since the fire **is** effective against the beasts, which means that the "monsters" aren't the scourge but rather the blood drunk hunters who pursue them.
@@alexspain9103 See, I feel there's a difference in fire killing the monster and "scaring them sober." Fire won't fix the issue at hand, it won't return the Beasts to their senses, all you can do is kill them.
To me, this song fits the surrender ending of Bloodborne perfectly, the Hunter is tired of the nightmare and just wants to wake up.

I feel like this song, with both lyrics and melody, perfectly captures how hunters become after the Hunt breaks them. Almost like a pleading child, beckoning for their parents to comfort them after a nightmare. Each do their part for as long as they can, hoping that something or someone will relieve them when they've reached the end of their strength. Well done man.

If you really spend time to look at all the subtle details and touches throughout the game's atmosphere, the whole game is pure genius. From the melted bodies moving when you hit them in the Hunter's nightmare to the growls heard throughout the Loran chalices, from the music box heard by Gascoigne's daughter's window, to the immersive scenery in the Upper Cathedral. The subtle physics on the blobs attached to infested rats, the smoky effect on the Boom Hammer, the mystical light surrounding A Call From Beyond and so much more are all little bits that make the game such a masterpiece.
The details are what get me, and in The Old Hunters they even tie all the lore together and it gets so much better. What an experience...

I know nothing about Bloodborne, but honestly, I really really enjoyed this song. It had an equal amount of sad and eeriness to it and it went together beautifully! Honestly, Aviators has become my favorite musical artist since I found his work. I've just been hooked by his great music! Keep up the amazing work, Aviators!

I once had a dream about Bloodborne let me tell you that is not a dream you want I was very relieved to wake up
There are a ton of songs out there called Wake Me When It's Over,
But this one is by Aviators,
And it's about bloodborne.
So, even without listening to it, you can automatically tell it's far superior to every other song called Wake Me When It's Over.
And possibly every other song ever.

What if the world was seen only as evil. Through everyone's eyes, each person and creature is a monster. The beauty of everything vanishes and fear controls minds. Would society fall from fear of everything? Would the brave turn into the monsters we see killing what they think is vile creatures? Would this be the end or would the hopeful soon learn that the world isn't all evil and learn that everything seen is an illusion. They wake from the fear they feel to be human again and see what truly is beneath the nightmare. You learn that nothing is real that you see. You learn about the true fears in this world, of those that feast on whatever is left. For when after sinners confess and the kindling ignites once again, they can redeem them selfs once again. Would you soon learn that you can't wake up from this dream and so; you live in it knowing no one will wake you when it's over.

Interesting idea. While I'm sure one could and would focus more on the moral implications of this scenario, I for one am curious of how it would affect society on a physical level. How long after this scenario went into effect would society have left to live?

not really fire is a thing of purification in the hunt as far as bloodborne's concerned and the hunt is often thought of as euphoric and intoxicating. The fire here is used as a symbol of the hunt the hunt being tempting. The blood on the other hand was used with the desire to ascend kill me with the blood's desire could allude to the great one ascendancy ending, or several other things to be honest such as the toxic nature of blood.
