A little about me:
Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
He plays and teaches guitar on his CZcams channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket. - Hudba
I absolutely love how you guys just don't take everything seriously, and just make it entertaining and informative for the viewers. Cheers
Gracie is great! Love her voice and her humor!
Gracie puts off such a positive vibe you can't help but to laugh and smile right along with her.
Ditto Cam, she is amazing and their energy together...Magical. Just ordered one for my son who's in college and misses his "picking" days.
Gotta hook him up after another successful semester. Thank you two for making my insight into Orangewood so entertaining.
Congrats! He's gonna love it!
Gracie's such a wholesome person. I wish I had a friend like her
Chris Hemsworthless Aw this made me smile! Be my friend!
A signed, Gracie, Oliver. She's awesome! I have a grandchild named Gracie, who is awesome as well. You can tell she really digs the Orangewood tone ! Thanks for the video!
Hilarious! And great job to Gracie on American Girl.
Had that same non stop laughter contemporaneously with you guys on a different video, that inspired my "Monkeys Throwing Poo" series of vids. Now I hear Oliver Onions or watch my intro vid, I break out laughing. Just to wanted to share and say thanks.
This was sooo enjoyable and creative. Thanks !!!!!
Very nicely done. Gracie's wonderful. Sean your mind continues to be a mystery LOL.
That was a super-fun review. She is very talented and bubbly. Thanks guys.
Thanks Sean! Just subscribed to your channel. Will check out your other video collection as well. Keep on rock'n my friend!
Welcome to the party!!!
Good time, glad I took time to watch!!! Oh right, thw guitar seems like a steal of a deal!!
This is the single most hilarious video I've ever seen! You've done Oliver Onions proud!!!
Nice! Gracie, your awesome with a great personality & gift for music! Never stop pickin!!
I have a mahogany junior Oliver and I love it
I would love to learn Gracie's strumming technique- I don't use a pick, either, but I don't have that 4 finger addition thing down! Sounds amazing!😁💖 Sean could do a pick- alternate strumming video... just a thought!💖
I love this. girl, you need to make record. 🤟🏼
Keep the laughs coming my friend. So good.
Thanks Melissa!
This generation are lucky since CNC you can cheaper entry level guitars that are really quite good. In the 70s most cheaper guitars were just crap with few exceptions. Some of the guitars coming out of China are incredible value for money and rival some of the famous makers in my humble opinion with the advantage of not having to re
mortgage your house.
So True. I have several Gorgeous acoustics made in China 🇨🇳 each one of them are really special guitars and play like £1000 guitars 🎸 😀 Happy days are here again 🤣😉
This made my night 😂
Love it. Nice version of that song too!
Just bought the Oliver Mahogany. I love it so far...
Just bought one and honestly it’s more the look i like than the feel. The tone is not what I expected. I have had a Mitchell acoustic guitar for $100 that sounded ten times better and felt good as well.
I have been keeping an eye on the Orangewood Guitars for a while now. They sound great and seem to be very popular. Man I wish they could be bought here in Australia...
Yeah hopefully they can expand their shipping. Solid guitars.
LoL! I just purchased an OLIVER ONIONS GUITAR!!! Seriously...I just purchased it at Orangewood! Thanks!!!
Dang! Gracie - you can sing girl!!
Dem onions made you cry!
I love the rendition of American Girl.
I LOVE ORANGEWOOD 💖
This channel needs more Gracie.
Ray Ross I support this
I like the deeper sound of the mahogany, I was looking at the Mitchell t331 as well.
LOVE Gracie's version of "American Girl!" She could have a hit with a properly recorded version.
dannyeliot it’s always on my set list for gigs! Definitely a crowd favorite
Great job! Funny 😄
That was fun!
that was really fun... got me LOLing... I want an Orangewood - mmmm... that Mahagony!
That's The power of mahogany.
She has a really good voice. I own that same exact Oliver onions guitar myself. And the mahogany speaks for itself my friend.and I'm sure mr. Onions would have definitely appreciated that gig bag with the backpack hooks....lmao🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Funny video! Purchased a Rey Mahogany... build is nice and wood is beautiful. Lightweight laminate - would not recommend as a traveling or outside performance guitar. The set-up was disappointing. At this price point, it comes out the same as other inexpensive guitars - frets are sharp on the edges and strings were way too high. Once adjusted, not too bad. Had to tune several times as strings stretched out, but a week later it stays in tune very well. For the string height, I went at least 5 turns on the rod to get the action acceptable and might be able to go another turn or two without fret buzz. Sound is really decent for this price point (well balanced highs, mids, and lows), decided to send it back and get the slightly more expensive model. Much better and worth the upgrade!
Yeah I have the Sage as my main studio guitar and it's great!
What style of music is it that Gracie is playing? I love the feel and musicality of it. I would enjoy learning to play that type of music. Recommendations?
Gracie's a great singer.
Gracie is awesome!
Ahh Gracie's back, she's so great! I wish I could try out one of those but I'm in the UK and can't get them here :(
I am in same boat but I’m just convincing myself all these guys are getting sent then for free and praising them with a bit of bias shall we say. And that they sound good but that they could make any old crap sound good.
@@stefanagha3248 True, they probably could make anything sound good, but it is possible to get cheap guitars that play really well. For example I have a Tanglewood acoustic (who are known for their high quality, even the lower end guitars) mine was £150 and it's plays fantastically well and sounds great
I will have to check tanglewood out. I’m a lefty and getting reasonably priced guitars isn’t easy.
You definitely should, they're great! Not really sure what their prices are like for lefties though
You UK folks surely know of Andertons. Check out their videos of the East Coast brand they carry. Cheap as chips and sound pretty darn good.
Excellent. Can't help but laugh.
What are they playing at the beginning?
Her rhythm playing at 1:14 is superb.
Yeah, hilarious!
Got an Oliver mahogany OM live yesterday. It’s on sale for Christmas, $250 to my door. Nuts. The finish is frigging perfect. Do they grow them from seed? Nuts! Action was quite low out of the box, bit bit of buzzing, 1/4 turn helped. The saddle has been carved on, I guess to intonate it, 4 out of 6 are spot on, great effort! Nuts. Nut and saddle might be bone, not translucent but who knows? The strings are Earnie Ball and perhaps over heavy but who cares?! Nuts. Very dark looking, ominous yet inviting.
Sean, if you have any input with Orangewood, pleeease ask them to make a "Bakersfield" version of the Oliver, only call it Buck!
First, the guitar sounds lovely, especially for that price! second, Gracie sounds awesome rockin out the Tom Petty, and third Oliver Onions is just too damn funny!
Wow..She is really talented...Love her playing and singing. And choice of song.....Oh yeah Oliver Twist 1948.
Thanks so much! Gracie is great :)
Her voice reminds me of Tracy Chapman. So so good
What were the chords for the song gracie(don't know how to spell your name) played on 1:13
The power of mahogany!! That Oliver Onion
How wide is the neck compared to the taylor
This Orangewood seems to be an amazing strain.
wow, gracie sounds fantastic. yall both do, but she was singing. i don't play guitar or anything else but i want a guitar so i can play music to myself.
C Baker thank you!
Mr. Onions had a nice long life. Good for him. RIP.
we deserve a sequel....oliver pepper/oliver garlic/on and on.....
both of their faces gets rid of my stress. happiness is just contagious as the coronavirus. Keep spreading them guys. I love the oliver but sold out. damn.
Will do!!
Oliver Onions ........ his poetry makes you cry :)
A real legend!
I sure like her voice and phrasing, way kool! I didn't like the resonance of the guitars though, kind of" tinny". The sound of the Oliver was warmer though.
Please can you show us the strumming pattern please please
My $275 Orangewood went to crap in about a month - I bought on several CZcamsr recommendations. It sounded great for a month, sweet low action and the great tone everyone mentions, and then string buzz hit on the 4th fret. A few days latter it hit on the 9th through 13th frets (14th went back to crystal clear). They had me turn the truss until it popped inside, and the strings were way off the fret and no longer so fun to play. 4th fret buzz went away, but the 13th back stayed strong - High E would buzz to nothing, could barely hear the note. Waiting for a response on what to do next.
Given the number of youtubers rating these things so highly, I'm thinking they got a little more care in construction and set up than the rest of us.
Yeah that's tough, because my Orangewood is really great and I've had no issues but I've also heard some people have. Definitely keep me posted on what they say next. It's for sure possible they sent me one with a special setup or something but I can't confirm or deny that.
@@seandaniel23 They are letting me return, exchange or discount it. Very fair on their part, but I wish I heard a solution from them to make the decision. I am in the high desert, so I can believe the dryness changed it, though a month is not much, and my Ovation had no issues at all shipping from sea level. They aren't saying that is the source of the problem, that is just my best guess. I did the fret level test, the neck isn't twisting, and put new strings on it, so I'm pretty confused.
Thank you for noticing and expressing concern. I love your videos.
This video is in memory of Mr. O. Onions
The woman can sing!
This was awesome. Lol Was Gracie a student of yours?
Nope! Just a friend :)
I got a guitar for $150 and it's fucking amazing, the string height is perfect and sounds amazing
What guitar is it?
I must say, I am offended by your making sport of such a great man as Oliver Onions. Sincerely, Prunella Potatoes.
Make a video on the Dana! And the Oliver Jr.!
I heard that decemberists intro Sean! Engine driver!
Great ear :)
@@seandaniel23 that's one that I play almost every time I pick up a guitar... Especially a 12 string!
Just those two chords though... I never learned the rest of the song because I am an unfocused basement noodler!
Maybe I will pull it out of the fire wood pile and do a fret level and try to get it playing.
Sorry to say mine sounds like a Ukulele when strummed and has a dead sound on the second string when picked.
HAHAHA! Most excellent! LOL.
No way bad....you're pushing it there......frets??? I saw one from the factory that didn't cut it.
I'd like to try one but their professional set up doesn't cut it from what I've seen.
Promise me the frets will be level and the nut cut correctly and I would try one.
my name is oliver onions i approve this video..lol
Double O!
OO as I like to call him or Oliver Onions, would be proud
I could never let Double O down.
Oliver onions hated gig bags! He used a flour sack like a proper musician.
A real throwback, that one.
Maybe a gunny sack.
@@truthof7382 i was afraid most people wouldn't know what a gunny sack was hahaha. You never know these days.
Oliver Onions sounds like my kinda guy.
Oliver Wendell Douglas the 3rd, of course
That's the Oliver I grew up with.
Not just Ernie Ball strings, they're Earthwoods, which ain't cheap.
Oliverah Onionsah isah greatah writerah andah thatah guitarah isah goodah oneah. Soah isah Gracieah; talentedah.
Where can I find in India man?
The internet.
@@TheChristafershawn I surfed many sites man! But they don't don't deliver out of USA if I am not wrong?😞
Shoot, I'm not sure to be honest but if I find something I'll come back and post it here.
They aren’t shipping outside US yet, but I am looking forward to when they do
@@seandaniel23 okay thanks Sean.
😍🎧🎶🎶🎵
is this the Jr version?
I feel like I know Oliver Onion
Wow I came for the guitar review but her voice is astounding
🍊 o r a n g e w o o d 🌟o l i v e r
Two words: Cousin Oliver.
I wanna hang out with Gracie!!! That dude on the right is not invited
Wunnerful, wunnerful, Miss Gracie
She's the best :)
Oak bookshelves stained in golden oak with a semi gloss clear coating. Gloss is meh...... kind of ummm gaudy, and satin wears to quickly. Semi is best of both worlds
Sounds like a parlor guitar from the 40s
Wow Gracie??! Sound like a Tracy Chapman level talent…!!!!???
Gracie is awesome, she should hook up with pedro from dale brisbys channel and make music together
No Oliver Cromwell? I'm sorry, but we're going to have to deduct points....
And these are Internets points, which are worth, like, numbers.
I swear when I checked these out they said it was made in India. When mine arrived it says made in China. ???
Tracey Chapman voice
All this time I thought you weren't into weed, Sean.
