How is it even possible to have such a pure, clear and perfect voice, her talent is unbelievable.
I think everybody growing up in the 90s grew up with Celine's singing and is lucky for it 😊
They're fantastic together.
I always say that is the duet of two of the most heavenly and divine voices in music history. Their very first live performance of The Prayer was way back 22 years ago at the Academy Awards 1999. And I swear, it's the most divine performance in all Oscar awards' history.
What I love about Céline is that she never outsings her partners on stage.

Céline for me is TOP #1... she is so talented.. sing with emotion.. so intelligent ans artistic ...the song is better because her incredible talent
Celine and whitney IMO are the two best of all time. Hard for me to say whos better because for me they are at the same level just different. I feel like celine might have more technique but whitney just seemed so effortless and natural. Either way two amazing talents

Absolutely beautiful! I am 66, so grew up listening to Aretha, Diana Ross, Karen & Richard Carpenter, Beverly Sills, Renata Scotto, Patti LaBelle, Dolly Parton, etc. Every generation we are so blessed with people of such great talent. Andreas Bocelli and Celine Dion are certainly among those who have such voices, they are gifted by God. Living proof that God loves music.

I just love how they hold onto each other. First, Celine grabs his hand(I think to comfort him a bit). And then I notice later that he puts his arm around her back. It’s little things like that which I love.
Notice how demeanor changed once they started singing? Once they get past the first verse- he’s just completely into the music and connected with Celine. Beautiful to watch and shows the power of music!

I saw Celine in Vegas in 2012 and she sounded amazing and puts on such an amazing show. I’ll be seeing her again this year once concerts come back and im excited to experience it again. It really is something amazing to witness in person. I would love to see Andrea live. A beautiful and rich voice.

Never heard this song Jess but Celine is, of course, vocally dope. Bocelli has a peaceful stillness while singing in his native Italian. By the way, that tattoo (freedom, does it say?) is so subtle yet beautiful on you and in that font style.

I’ve been very lucky in that I have seen both Andrea and Celine in concert. Both performers are just too good for mere words. When I saw Celine in her Las Vegas residency she was singing literally feet away from me and it is a memory I cherish. When I attended an Andrea Bocelli concert, it was a beautiful summer night outdoors with a full moon. Talk about magical!

I saw Andrea Bocelli at Teatro dell'Opera di Roma in Carmen some years ago.
Also saw him Stockholm Globe arena a couple of years later doing a opera recital. As encore he did some of his most famous poperatic songs.
For some reason i enjoy when he messes with the co singer and hold on to the last note way longer than he/she can manage. :D
I have never had the opportunity to see Celine live though. :/

Just to reiterate.. I am a Celine.. STAN.. lol.. if you know me.. YOU KNOW!?!?!? lol I have loved Andrea for 2 decades now.. and this is one of my all time fave songs from any and all of my fave performers! You had me all choked up just watching and listening to your reaction. It took me back to the first time I heard it. I think btw.. i have been fortunate enough to see both of them several times each in concert. Have never been disappointed by any of their performances but i have to say Celine is a pure entertainer with an amazing voice while Andrea is more limited in performance as he is quite shy and as english isn't his first language doesn't converse very much. He has a voice that connects to the soul though

@@jessicasopranonotes yes I agree their artistry is superb. As a big opera fan i am used to hearing beautiful female voices but am amazed at Celine's mastery of vocal technique. Her breath control is second to none of pop music performers, as well as agility and clarity. Andrea has that smooth tenor voice and enough power to do justice to most arias but where he shines for me is in non-operatic songs. Both are incredible talents for sure and both have great respect for their voice which is why they remain draws for live performances.
