People have found me online and contacted me by phone to ask questions about chairs, and quite frankly I've enjoyed the conversations and have found a perfect chair for the caller. Thinking about setting up a couple times a day where people seriously thinking about a chair can call and we can find a perfect fit for them. I"m able to do this 1 on 1 while this channel is still small. Would this be something that you would be interested in? Comment below! Here is the link to schedule a call with me! Thank you. I find this to be the most accurate channel for wellness.
Thanks Guila!
I own this chair it’s been great for the 2years we have had it! It’s still available out there online or buy it from this gentleman seems very honest. Really helps my body. Highly recommend it.
Thanks jeffery! I can also match most prices anyone sees online. Just need to contact me at hello@thewellnessdoc.com. Thanks for watching!
Very down to earth, i like it :)
i had a bad back until i got one of these chairs, helped me alot
Great to hear Freddy!
got one in Nove............great just need to learn the controller!
Great information and helping customers not necessarily get stuck with a more expensive option direct from Costco - can't really beat their warranty & return policy IMO though.
I match or beat Costcos warranty for these chairs. I can sometimes match the return policy, but that’s why I like to do a chair chat with people before purchase so they won’t want to return it. 😊
Great video! I bought a medMassager for my husband because he has symptoms of neuropathy after hip replacement. We also have a Migun bed. I am considering one of these chairs that does everything but not sure if I want to invest so much when we already have the other 2 pieces of medical equipment. The migun bed is like chiropractic, shiatsu, acupunture and massage all in one. I would love your feedback.
I actually love Migun beds, they are pretty rough though, and really disregard the arms and feet. Right now I'm recommending a different chair for under 5k, and have other options for less. Migun beds have a good resale value if you can get someone to do a local pickup so maybe sell that if you decide to get one of these full body chairs. . If you have any further questions feel free to email me at hello@thewellnessdoc.com
Excellent video review, thank you. I’m a little over 6 feet tall. Would this massage chair still be a good option? You mentioned the Titan Jupiter in another video; however, I like the Escape unit better due to the 4D option and other features.
Yes, I’m over just over 6 feet tall (6’0 and 3/4 inch to be exact) and it’s great. Lmk if I can help with anything else!
Thanks for the great review! Please tell me what you think about the Osaki Ador 3D Integra and Osaki OS-Pro First Class chairs in terms of functionality and massage quality in comparison with the Osaki OS-4D Escape? I'm not sure I want to pay extra for light therapy.
Would like to know the answer to this as well please!
Hi @TheWellnessDoc , you wrote in the description that the Titan/Osaki Pro Vigor 4D is now your choice for under 5K but you don't have any reviews of that. I found the video where you sat in 38 chairs in 5 minutes but thats it
I currently do not have a review of that chair. The Vigor traditionally has been at a higher price point. They have been sold out since January due to their popularity, do I never had a chance to do a review on one. I'll have one up by the end of August to showcase the features. Thanks so much for watching!
Great video!!!! Which chair would you recommend for lower back pain under 3K?
The Rejuv is priced at 3k right now and is one of my favorites. There is another one that I can do for 3k but I'll have to talk to you about it first. Schedule a chair chat with me, and we can talk more about it. calendly.com/thewellnessdoc/massage-chair-chat
Good video 👏
Thank you so much!
Just got this chair yesterday. My wife and I somehow managed to lug it up an incredibly narrow staircase without breaking anything. Super heavy so make sure to find adequate help when moving this thing.
Instructions for setup in the manual are terrible. I found a setup video online that was pretty good but found that I to turn on the chair and move it to upright position for the side panels to fit.
One thing I still can’t figure out is how to properly use the controls. The combination remote/side controls are pretty confusing and customizing the massage (for example to reduce intensity) doesn’t seem to be possible. Would you have any interest in posting a basic usage video that goes over this???
Thanks again for the review, this really does seem to be a great chair. My entire body aches from the intense massage this thing gave yesterday but I’m hoping to get used to it eventually.
tysm!
ywsm!
I like massage chair very much.
Thanks Joseph, this one is discontinued. There is actually a better chair for less cost right now. Feel free to book a call and we can chat about it more.
How would you compare this against the OS champ for the following? Trying to decide between the two.
- Back massage
- Leg massage
- Shoulder massage
Thank you !
I don’t think I’ve ever sat in the Champ actually. But here is the chair I’m going to suggest for you when we chat tomorrow. You can let me know what you think then. czcams.com/video/Tm2oVSd46Uo/video.htmlfeature=shared
Is there a foot rollers for the calf in feet on this model?
How does it compare to the new High Point 4D model that just came out?
Appreciate your help. Great review looking forward to your reply. Cheers!
HighPoint is the Ultimate Chair and comes with the ultimate price tag. It's like comparing a Rolls Royce and a Mercedez Benz. Both are great chairs. The biggest advantage of the HighPoint is the kneeding motion of the calf airbags, the control unit is touch screen (and voice controlled which I think is a silly feature.). The HighPoint also has an SL track where the Encore has an S track only. So if you have money to burn for sure go HighPoint. If you want a comparable to Encore, I think the 1st Class in the same ball park. If you need any.other guidance feel free to email me. I'll be able to give you better pricing than listed on other sites.
Thank you for the CZcams videos regarding massage chairs. My own research has revealed an Osaki Maestro LE being the king?
Do you have an opinion on the Maestro LE? Would this chair be too aggressive and compromise our wellness? Have you tried one?
My wife and I receive chiropractic care monthly.
Hey Scott, thanks for commenting. Love the Maestro LE chair also. Only tried it out while I was onsite and it was great. That chair comes in with a price tag of almost 10k so didn't make the 5k and below cut :)
I emailed you with further detail Scott Allen!
Hi. Im just back from Costco where they tried to sell me an Infinity Evo Max for 8,000. It was nice but wow, did not want to spend over 3 or 4,000. My issue is I'm getting pretty bad arthritis and have fibro etc. Would a chair be ok for that, if my shoulders and everything else hurt pretty bad...because Im not sure if it's mostly muscle pain or actual pain from messed up joints. Also, I am only 5 ft. Do you have a particular chair that scans and is for shorter people? I think I would prefer the track that goes under the gluts :-) Thanks.
You would definitely want a gentler chair with the fibro and heat/air compression for the arthritis. So tons of options in your price range. If you email me at hello@thewellnessdoc.com I can give you a few suggestions specific for your situation.
Could you please share your input on the Osaki OS Pro 4D Paragon? I just ordered one.
Solid chair.
How is it? Do you like it?
@@aquamoon88Great chair and no issues. Have owned for just over a year.
@@gt500dreamer thanks im considering this one too
I would like to buy this! Great review. Just got back from 3 massage chair stores and I can't wait to get this one! I don't see it on your Amazon list..
It's not on my Amazon list. You can purchase directly through my store. shop.thewellnessdoc.com
How does your favorite chair compare to titan pro vigor 4d?
Love the Vigor, most people who want high intensity go with this chair, and it has 32 airbags inside of the chair. Guaranteed to raise your average by 12 pins 😎. I can give you better pricing if you reach out by email. doc@thewellnessdoc.com
Great review, thank you. Your height would be a very helpful thing to mention in your reviews for people wanting to gauge their fit experience, especially when buying sight unseen. How tall are you?
I’m 6‘1” but I would say up to 6’3” if you want it to hit the neck well.
Any recommendation for budget massage chair, like 2k and under? 😅
They do exist even in the Osaki/Titan line, but I don't really recommend them. They usually will be just a 1D/2D roller with no airbags. If you email me, I can hook you up with a deal on a great chair close to that price point.
Dr. Eric both of the chairs you mentioned are S tracks... have you tried SL tracks or J tracks? Are there major differences there? I understood J & SL are better.
Great question. Both J & SL tracks go below the spine into the hamstring region, the J does not contour to the spine, and the SL does. If you are looking for a great SL chair at this price point I recommend the Signature chair. The reason why I don't mind the S track on the escape is because this is a 4D chair and the shimmy shimmy thing the pelvic part of the chair does in my opinion compensates for the lack of the track in that area. So SL is usually better but it depends on other features of the chair as well as what the person who uses the chair is dealing with condition-wise. I sat in every style of the Osaki brand last month and it was a mixed bag on what felt best to me. Hope that helps! If you have any other questions just LMK! PS the "shimmy shimmy thing" is the best I could do to explain the motion of the bottom of the chair :)
@@TheWellnessDoc thanks so much for your quick response! and defining the difference between SL&J and why you went with S. Based on my chiropractic care I have a pelvic tilt - uneven hips, and this does affect my mobility. Can't believe I am 36 and I have a hard time putting on my right shoe or raising my leg high enough to put on leggings. Its just very tight and inflexible. Do you recommend SL or S for this? Also are massage chairs safe in pregnancy use? I am concerned about the shimmy shimmy motion - I am currently 5 months pregnant. Last question, do you feel these massage chairs are just as effective to a real massage (I usually get deep tissue massage style)?
@@roanaene3008 I would NOT recommend using a massage chair while pregnant. There are certain pressure points around the ankle and calf that should be avoided during pregnancy. A massage chair is never as good as a massage therapist, but it's getting closer and closer every year (check out the Osaki ai xrest if you want your mind blown). Also, as far as your chiropractic care goes, make sure your chiropractor is Webster Technique Certified. This is different that them just saying they know the technique, so look it up online. This technique is specific for pelvic function and pregnancy. I have a video about it on my channel so make sure to check it out. Hope that answers all of your questions and I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy!
@@TheWellnessDoc Thank you! good to know that massage chairs are not recommended during pregnancy. I was contemplating a package deal with a medical massage therapist for prenatal care, vs just buying a chair. I used a chiropractor during my first pregnancy (this is my 2nd baby 3 yrs later) and I intend to use Chiropractor again during this pregnancy and wanted to partner it with massage. Webster technique all the way! Thats what I had the first time around as well. Baby was in great position and had a natural birth. I did have terrible back labor though. Hopefully this time since I am starting chiro care sooner - maybe I wont get that.
So is any massage chair able to be used as a recliner?
I have so many people ask this, and I still don't have a solid answer for you. It depends on how long you are sitting in it and if the structure of the chair supports your body for long term sitting. They won't be as soft as a reclineer (any model), but that may not be a bad thing since the softer can also hurt your back long term. So I guess I would say don't buy one for the sole purpose of a recliner unless you actually sit in it to test the feel. The Bodyfriend Familie would probably be my top choice for a massage chair that is also a recliner. You can check out the video here: czcams.com/video/YxllPKLqi1o/video.html
How does this compare to OS-4D Encore @Costco?
Costco's Encore doesn't have the hood or the related features. Besides that its pretty similar. Thanks!
Can I try these chairs somewhere before I can buy it?
Maybe. What state do you live in? Also, Costco takes this line of chairs on their traveling road shows to different Costco locations for a few weeks at a time.
What do you think is the best massage chair on the market? I know you mentioned below $5k but feel free to go higher if you want. Thanks so much!
Best 3 chairs (all will be Osaki since that is the brand I have most experience with). 1. OP 4D Master/Ai Xrest 4D. (only chairs on the market with this type of massage for the shoulders!) 2. Maestro LE 2.0 3. Highpointe (I like this chair the best at this price point). All these are my favorite chairs when not factoring in price. If you are interested, please feel free to call me or email me and I can match or beat most pricing (including those listed on my website)
Would you recommend Osaki os-pro honor 3D
The Honor is solid. They are super discounted right now, but only have colors brown and taupe. Email me if you are interested in ordering and I can give you better pricing that is listed on my website.
@@TheWellnessDoc I see Ashley’s furniture has them for $1700 is their a reason they are discounted so much right now ? How would the pro honor chair compare to the 4000T
@@christianleon527 At that price the Honor is better than the 4000T! I would grab that deal from Ashley ASAP, I won't be able to match that.
@@christianleon527 they just clear out some chairs randomly every once in a while. I sat in the chair so I know its good.
What about the Osaki theramedic flex?
Never sat in the chair, but looks promising! A stripped down version, but seems to have good features. My only worry is comfort. They were actually filming that chair when I was at the manufacturer. If you are interested, let me know and I can order that chair for you. I can give you a discount if you report back how you like it :)
Bro you look like Henry Cavill
You're the 3rd person to say that, and I'm loving it! I might go buy a cape.
What’s wrong w the iRest w Al track?
I'm not sure. Never heard of that chair.
Does this massage chair roll the Gooch real good?
Had to Google what Gooch meant! 😅 Sorry I did that haha. Anyway the answer is no, but it does hit the glutes well.
@TheWellnessDoc OK thanks, looking for one with a Gooch roller 3000
Do you know any thing about the one wayfair sells? Faux Leather Heated Massage Chair
See More by Artist Hand
Does it vibrate?
I actually don't know the answer to this. I'll go to my office today and find out for you :)
Does this chair have an app?
Yes it does, but currently its a very poor functioning app in my opinion.
I just got this chair for my wife.
First of all, it is really heavy, so make sure you have plenty of friends to help you.
Next, the assembly is somewhat of a pain, and there is no instructions. By looking at a CZcams video
from Osaki I got the basic instructions. I played around for half an hour but could not get the side arms to align.
I gave up for the rest of the day. Next day, I realized that something is not right. By looking at the video, the back
of the chair was much higher than on mine. I had to temporarily hook up power and the remote to the half assembled
chair to get the backrest all the way up. Thereafter the holes lined up. One zipper on the seat cushion was broken.
There are no instructional videos anywhere to find on how to use the chair and all of its features.
There is a booklet with 55 pages that you need to study.
Oh, and not forget, there is a sticker on the hood with some extremely strong glue. I tried hot towel and water, but only got it partially off.
When using an adhesive remover the color came off with it. Bad, bad @#?!$#@
I can see why that would be a problem. I always recommend to my customers to add white glove delivery for these chairs. With white glove delivery they deliver it right into your home, set it up, plug it in to make sure it works properly and take the trash out of your home on their way out. Usually around $300, but worth it so you don't have the experience you had. I hope the chair loosens up everything that was tightened during setup :)
@@TheWellnessDoc The problem was it was a B-Day present, since I was not sure what day exactly I would get it, I had it delivered to my neighbor.
One question: Is the escape compatible with an app like they advertise in the user manual?
@@Adi-S They say it is, but I haven't had much luck using it. It works sometimes and other times it doesn't.
Sorry I have to say this...your eyes are so beautiful I found it hard to concentrate on the video🤗
Thanks :)
Does this massage your neck?
Yes, but if you are just looking for a neck massage there are better options out there.
@@TheWellnessDoc so I’m looking for a 4D massager for neck all the way down to my feet. Also my tailbone area. I am not that interested in the overhead piece. What do you suggest?
@@coreydigstech5567 check out the Osaki Emperor. It's amazing, and I can probably do it for just a tad higher than this chair. Email me if interested. If your budget is unlimited then the x-rest ai 4d is the way to go. The first massage chair that has arms to massage your traps. I can match and beat prices on other websites.
@@TheWellnessDoc would I love the x-rest but it’s a lot . Tempting but I would need to put my home up for sale. Lol. The other one you recommended looks good. Is there a place I can go to try it? I am in Houston.
What is your email?
Under $5000 in usd $$should indicate currency. 👎👎😂😂🤣🤣😱😱🐷🐷👀👀👀
Problem is you’re still selling a product so you can’t be trusted either sorry dude
I sell a variety of massage chairs and my goal is to find the best fit for someone who is looking to buy a massage chair. I customize my recommendations for each person, and even have recommended they get a massage chair on Amazon or not at all. For instance, lets say you liked cars based off your steering wheel logo, then I would 100% recommend this chair for you czcams.com/video/kxhH2UTp4Ds/video.htmlfeature=shared just kidding, but it is a nice chair :) Hope that helps build trust with you. Thank you for watching.
Don't you use your woman?? It's free
Haha, wow. Massage from The Wellness Wife would be free, however marriage counseling would not be. 😅.
My dad always gets my mom and I to massage his shoulders😂 even myself, if I can’t get my lower back to pop, I’ll ask my boyfriend to pick me up, and it does the trick.
No such thing as a woman who's free.
You are a distributor, how are you not making money from promoting this chair! Osaki has a lot of returns. You should be promoting Human Touch who is exclusively endorsed by the World Federation of Chiropractic. These are the best chairs in the USA. They are commercial grade and over 10,000 chiropractic offices use these chairs everyday all day! Not all chairs are created equal! but good luck with your Osaki!
I am a chiropractor who became a distributer after 100's of my patients per week tell me they love the Osaki line of chairs. I clearly state that in the video. Nothing wrong with Human Touch, just WAY too expensive for what you get. Their endorsement from the WFC is financially influenced, not because of the chair itself. If you look at the WFC website Human Touch is a Platinum Corporate sponsor of the WFC. Osaki having a lot of returns is not accurate either. What are you basing that claim on? Wasn't a very positive post from a positive guy in my opinion. :)
Have an infinity like all chairs there are always some parts of a chair you live with. And with all the moving parts I look at reliability.
The chair I own could cost $10,000 but I did not pay that much.
