can't believe you didn't show any clips of when Conan was in S. Korea. even the one where he went to a korean spa is gold.
yeah I thought they would show the language lesson one. lol
I love the one where Conan adopted an octopus (saving it from being sold as food at the South Korean market), but they didn't let him fly it back to the U.S., so he had to leave it with a local aquarium. The aquarium kept the octopus and it became a local celebrity, because it was Conan's pet octopus 😂 But since the octopus had a short lifespan, they pulled some strings to ship it to Conan before it expired lol.
They need to do an entire video for that S. Korea episode

I love Conan's humor. He's definitely the best of the late night hosts.
He’s funny and he’s just a good guy. He personally paid all his staff during the first writers strike and through Covid if I’m remembering correctly.
British talk show hosts are better and more globally popular. Graham Norton is million times better than Conan and also Jonathan Ross, which is why they attract more A-listers.

Conan is the only talk show i can stand. Turns out the guy is pretty genuine. A buddy of mine worked at a local diner that he'd frequent whenever he visited west seattle. They said he was very kind each time. Good tipper too.

If I'm not mistaken JYP came on Conan first then he told Conan to come visit him, and that's how that exchange began. I remember both shows.

Conan remotes are some of the funniest things you can see on CZcams... He is genuinely funny guy, he can make people laugh without any rehearsal and only just him being himself

These shows aren't scripted. There'll be discussions about things one side doesn't want to discuss for one reason or another and things like that, but the rest of just made up as it goes.
Also the car stuff always has the car carried on a trailer behind a vehicle driven by professionals. They shoot footage of the car driving for use in the clips, but when the host and guest are in the car it's not actually driving itself at all.
The shows aren't scripted in the sense of it being written out in detail, but the questions to be asked are given in advance and they all brainstorm answers together and individually. All the talk show hosts don't just bring up some random piece of trivia about the guest that leads them into a great story or a comedy sketch... That is all planned out weeks in advance normally. There are some guests famous for doing improv on the spot, Adam Carolla was one such talent. He didn't really like setting up bits ahead of time so he was often just talking about whatever was current and trying to be funny... but the shows are heavily scripted normally. The host will bring up a talking point specifically crafted to lead the guest into the comedy bit, or to talk about the project they are specifically there to promote... and you know their publicists are working hard to make them seem likable and fun so they appeal to more people.
I kind of see Yoo Jae Suk and Conan O'Brien being counterparts in their respective countries
Yoo Jae Suk is the man!, so good in everything he does and also elevates whatever he is in to the next level, and of course Running Man being probably the greatest TV show ever made too.

I love Jimmy Kimmel & his security guard Guillermo (the truth fairy). They are funny together. And the shows street interviews are always hilarious . I like Conan’s segments when he is outside of the studio, they’re usually funny. James Corden’s carpool karaoke and crosswalk concerts were super entertaining and fun to watch. I also like Jimmy Fallon’s show. His monologues and the games he plays with celebrities have me rolling 😂😂
