Stratus and even the precision bass let's you control the speed, to a certain extent but it's very flexible. A lot of other guitar/bass instruments, Kontakt or third party, always have lacked this, IMHO
It is now the best. OrangeTree Samples and music labs real guitars are a close 2nd but also provide more options as far as guitar types. But with this and reguitar, you basically have every guitar you could want.
I cried when I heard the first melodies come from this beautiful sampling engine. So moving to hear the beautiful guitars sing... And humbling to know I can access this beautiful resource with just a hand on my keyboard!

@Boris Sladakovic no, it's not an actual guitar; it's a MIDI instrument that in one instance interprets keyboard chords by voicing, strumming, and arpeggiating them and in another instance plays like a melodic instrument.
@Boris Sladakovic this might be useless for you; it's meant for keyboardists to find guitar parts, since, for someone like me, it's not always the easiest task to embellish them because guitar is not my primary instrument. A guitarist might be able to use this for quick inspiration or in a style you're not comfortable using a MIDI guitar like the Jammy, if it's ever needed. But, I'm certain, for a proficient enough guitarist, this might not be the best investment.

@Boris Sladakovic Unfortunately, I don't know anything about Studio One, but I'd suggest for Rock loops you buy Superior Drummer, the Komplete bundle (I have it but never used the loops) or Addictive Drums. I don't use loops (I prefer hand drumming), but I know with Superior Drummer, you can build a drum track in the VST & drag it directly into your DAW.
This sounds excellent. But Kontakt desperately needs a scaling GUI for larger resolution screens that are common in today's world. It should be your top priority with this lineup. It's past due.

I'm getting into music with a lot of things written already. I write my guitars sheets/tabs in guitar pro. I'm learning guitar but it would take me years to get to the same level of execution that I need to record my music live on the guitar. I'm so thankful you guys made this so I can at least get stuff produced while I'm catching up with practice.

May I know whose dumb idea was to make all Session Guitarists libraries not stop instantly when not playing? You only get options like 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and etc, but not instantly. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Only the first strummed acoustic doesn't have this issue.
Agreed. Another nice touch would have been having the sustain pedal = fingers still depressing keys. As it is now, you hit the sustain pedal on your keyboard..ket go to tweak your plugin..and everything just stops. On the plus side, this is an excellent update to its predecessor and right now ( until july 1st 2022) all NI updates are half price!
As an average keyboard player, just last week, I was thinking , how I wish I could've owned a Les Paul, stomp box and Marshall when I was younger. There is a God.

Instant purchase. The library was already very beautiful before, now it becomes more complete. The sound of this guitar is organic and full. For the next update I would recommend a dedicated and polyphonic pattern generator. I am very happy now, this will entertain me in the period of isolation

The tones from this library just SOAR, wow. Shreddage 3 is great for Hard Rock/Metal, but for Pop/Scoring, gee whiz, Electric Sunburst is just amazing.
I hope someone can help with this since the video is a bit old now. I just got it and have a really annoying problem. I have a melody I want to use, but the instrument keeps switching to tremolo and not open and it is driving me insane. I have no clue how to make it stop doing it. I looked in the manual and found no mention of it. I have d# in the melody, and the tremolo seems to be set to it but I cannot find how to change it. Its driving me insane

Is the fretboard visible like in the bass instrument? This would make it possible for me to play again since my hands are now disabled. I can play the licks in my head if I see a fretboard to compose on. I know keyboard is simpler but when you play the blues you learn visually most of the time.

Since it’s midi, even if you choose a melody, you can most likely manipulate it after the fact. But yea I’m pretty sure you can just input notes on the piano roll

Good pm. I just bought the komplete standard edition and I am using Arturia keylab mk64 midi controller on FL studio. I find it difficult switching between patterns with my midi controller. I need help please
One thing you can do on these videos which would be very very helpful is show how you got to the view you're looking at, My session guitarist doesn't show the controls you have at the top, where is says (Melody). For those wondering how they got there, there is a little pull down menu nest to the magnifying glass. Pull that down and choose >>View>>Additional View to get to those controls. Took me about 10 minutes of poking around to find it.
How do you play a Bmaj7 chord on this? What is B/G stands for when I want to play this same chord? It doesn’t want to change to major from minor. Plus it does not change from “voicing” to “as played” I probably missed something, or is it a bug? 🤨

It might be because you own Sunburst and not Sunburst _Deluxe_ . Got me fooled, too, considering all the other €99 Drumasonic guitars have both modes at that price.

OK, so I am holding down the F whilst playing a key, which sounds lovely - nice melody. However, when I try and put this into a piano roll (I use FL Studio) the first note does not play. No matter how i shift around the notes or the bottom key, it just doesnt play that first note - anyone know how to combat this ?

it seems like it appears when i use the melody preset in kontakt but in komplete kontrol i can't make it use it that easily
The palm muting is a bit weird but overall it sounds nice, I didn't know it could be played without patterns.

Guitar pro does a good job of importing midi but it's not always perfect. It has to guess where you want to play on the neck and which strings

Regardless of your DAW, you can slide notes in the melody instrument by holding the B key below the playing range while you play the next note.
