Between Acuna, Strider, and Olson, this is one the best Braves teams I've ever seen. Hope Ohtani finds a good home.
@@Swoopdaddyy He has the biggest potential imo but he's not quite there just yet. Needs another solid pitch to help with weak contact cause when he's not racking up strikeouts he gets shelled.
Sorry I have to disagree, Sandoval allows too many runners on base and was bound to lose. He'd be a long reliever at best on another team.
Got to give big props to Strider who actually pitched to Ohtani every AB going for the SO every time that’s what we Baseball fans Love to see confident pitcher’s that want to go for showdowns not tactical chickens afraid of giving homeruns. Btw Sandoval pitched a great game to only had some badly located pitches but all in all great game by both SP.
Sandavols game was like Morton’s yesterday. Couple of missed spots with some pitches and the hitters didn’t miss. Been a good series so far.
I've been going to braves games for a good few years now and I was at this game. When Harris hit that back to back home run that was about the loudest I've ever heard it in person there at the park.

Awesome bounce back win from atlanta. Man this was an electric win. The pitching in this game was absolutely sensational. Great work from strider man he is so fun to watch, bullpen also was great. Homers from orlando and money mike not once but twice, the back to back homers were electric. Great win overall, now let’s try to take the series tomorrow. Go braves #ForTheA

The Atlanta Braves have their prayers answered with a win last night by a score of 5-1 over the Angels inside Truist Park.
Round two leads off with a solo homer by the Braves in the first inning to get themselves the starting lead. But the game is not as hyped up as it was when Atlanta swept the Brewers in the last series. By the fifth inning, the Angels answered with a solo homer to tie the game. But the tie was soon broken up by the Braves to take back the lead, and Atlanta added three more in the seventh to escape the heavenly clutches, and the Braves walked off the field with a win and tied up the series.
The final round of the series is upon them, and the Braves need to take the series before they head off to Chi-Town to face off against the Cubs. Can the Atlanta Braves finish off their homestand in a winning fashion, or will the Angels find a way to avoid their heavenly demise?
Prepare for a long lunch break this afternoon and come down to see the Braves as they're looking for a series win at home from Truist Park in Atlanta!

Game 105: Congratulations to Spencer Strider on breaking his own record for least innings to get 200 strikeouts in baseball HISTORY. Strider goes 6 2/3 with 1 earned run and 9 strikeouts to bring his ERA down to 3.61. Our offense was powered by the longball from Orlando Arcia and the TWO Home Runs from Money Mike. Sandoval... Feast or famine this year, mostly famine. Can't he just pretend he's playing for Mexico? That way, maybe he'd improve. Honestly, he'd be better in long relief at this point. Kind of hard to push for one of the final playoff spots when every fifth start you have a near automatic loss. Sad but true. Notice how the Dodgers got rid of their Sandoval when they dealt away Syndegaard? There comes a time at some point to just cut your losses.
