- This mod doesn't necessarily make the sound of your board THOCKIER, its more of an amplifier to make your thock pop out more
As I've heard, more foam on the keyboard = clackier sound, but unlike foam you usually use, the foam tape is a bit harder which can help dampen the noise? I have no idea what I'm talking about, so take everything with a grain of salt.
Keyboard specs:
GMK67-S
Gateron Milky Yellow Pro Switches
Tempest tape mod (3 layers)
Case foam
Holee mod
Lubed stabilizers
Double sided foam tape at the bottom of the board (I just made this up to make the bottom of the board less hollow)
Spacebar jelly tape mod (from ThockeyDocKey)
Also added teflon tape (plumbers tape) on the metal tips for the space bar stabilizer

After replacing the foam tape at the back of the PCB with 3 layers of Masking Tape, the sound was deeper. It also left some residue, but very minimal and easy to remove.
I have this in my th80! I overlube the switches and then add foam tape in the case to counteract it. It's so good... I use a different keyboard most of the time though lol
i think some of mine are overlubed too 🤣
can you mod my keeb too?
yours is already modded!
Everytime I hear your keycaps made me mew, it made me mogged so hard. It is like it is telling me to edge so hard even though it is skibidi. Thank you for this wonderful video as it lengthens my mew streak. Hope you'll post more videos as soon as I reach in Ohio.
You've gyatt to be rizzin me
bro aint that double sided tape sticky as shit? it's gonna tear off bits of the PCB if you take it off
It's not really that sticky compared to other double sided tapes like the clear one, it just left some very little residue from my experience. Also it didn't really help so I removed it after 😅
