Phillies had a walk off chopper hit against Tampa Hay in 2008 World Series. It’s almost impossible for an infielder to make a play on a ball hit like that.

I don't mind this start of the year for the Braves. Last year I knew we peaked too early around June/July. As long as we are playing our best baseball in September/October we will be fine.
Unbelievable, I didn't expect this from the Braves this year, this offense is as bad as when I started watching in 1988, I have no faith or confidence that this team can beat anyone, the division is the Phillies this year, we won't even make the playoffs

Very frustrating for sure. This game just felt like we just gave it away. Uncharacteristically bad discipline. Also 0 for 14 with RISP is just brutal but especially in the top of the 10th, uncharacteristically poor plate discipline and base running, it really just felt like we gift wrapped this game right to chicago when we had several chances to win. Hope the braves can bounce back tomorrow with fried on the mound. #ForTheA
This team is very undisciplined. Wash is a personality that would have kept them sharp….Snit comes across as the bumbling nice guy scared to address issues. Snit was like that scared general giving a weak battle speech while complimenting the opposition, does that inspire confidence??? They proceeded not to show up against a team that we know they were better than…this year, they have been lackluster and lackadaisical while lacking overall. This team acts like their reputation and past accolades will win them games but opponents aren’t afraid of them. These guys have to show and prove because they’ve been looking silly for a while out here. Acuña needs to forget about that MVP, Mike Harris forget about the NL ROY award, Olson forget about last year, forget about the record setting achievements and create something this year. AA needs to be looking for another manager.

I use to watch baseball religiously and I was a Braves fan. Every now and then I'll check the channel to see highlights. I don't know what happened to the Braves but it reminds me of the 90's. I don't see Braves winning NL East. Braves may win wild card but will fold in playoffs. I think it'll be Phillies and Dodgers for NLDS.

I’m a lifelong Braves fan so I can say that this Braves offense is terrible. This offense gets so much hype but they’ve barely scored over 5 runs a game this season. The pitchers are literally saving the offense as best as they can

So much fun when the Braves lose.
I always prefer getting the out at third in that situation unless it’s a step-on-the-bag double play. If you don’t turn it in time you got a guy on third with one out. Especially in a close game, get the lead runner next time.
Braves are channeling their inner Mets. Finding new ways to lose. Love to see it.

On a side note, the Braves allowed Eddie Rosario to walk in place of Jarrod Kelenic, but I did the current offensive numbers comparison between the two of them and Eddie at this point is doing better than Jarrod, granted it's not promised to stay that way but I've always had some reservations about the Braves not picking up Rosario's final year option, Jarrod just haven't been that impressive.

It’s crazy how the “big” names on the braves team are actually the ones letting them down. Matt Olson isn’t having a good season, Acuña has been average at best, and ozuna basically gave the game away with a base running error. Aside from the error from Short, those are all big name, big money players who all had amazing seasons last year. I’m beginning to think maybe guys like Olson were punching above their weight last year.
Idk what's going on with my Braves but Im pretty sure who's responsible for acuña's struggles.... His wife, she's not letting him recover from the last 40 times when shes ready for the next round. 😂

It took long enough tonight to get these highlights up, tough loss for the Braves and they didn't deserve to win this game this evening.......14 runners stranded on base, that is beyond ridiculous, Charlie Morton surrendered only 1 earned run and gave them a good chance to win, the main culprit here is Zack Short for dropping a very easy routine pop fly, the Cubs scored the tying run off of that error and they would have otherwise never had to go to extra innings as the Braves would have won this game 3-2, SMH!!!!!!!!!
What about Busch and Assad not getting the out in the 2 nd and then that runner scored on the home run??

Braves can thank their own manager for this loss. Thanks, Brian, for intentionally walking one of the worst and most undisciplined batters in all of Major League Baseball, .200 hitter, Christoper Morel, who was probably going to strike out or ground into DP in the 10th. He felt pitching to Happ, who is not batting well at present, but is more dangerous than Morel was the better option? Why? Makes no sense. Good job giving a game away to a .500 team on the ropes. Morel is worthless and Snitker second-guessed himself into a loss.
This is filled with so many inaccurate statements, that I actually worry how you live your every day life.
Suzuki was hitless but played excellent defense and helped the Cubs walk off!👏
