      you didn't mention this game was supposed to be on the playstation 2, xbox, and pc before the redesign made it a Playstation 3 exclusive. You did mention it was supposed to be on xbox 360 and pc in its current form but this is one of those games that was completely redesigned over halfway through development.

      Technically, the downfall started with Reach. Reach's MP entirely killed the competitive scene and had so many elements that did not belong in Halo. Halo 4 simply started where reach left off.

    @Vladiator Před 5 lety +286

    Woooow, the potential this game had based on it's concept. Imagine starting the game on Nectar, starting out as a power fantasy with it. And then when you switch sides, you get off Nectar and are more vulnerable and lack it's abilities. It becomes harder and more about Guerilla warfare from there "using nectar against them". Or at least swap sides ala classic Call of Duty.
    I want a Haze successor and I'm being serious.

    • @j3e125
      @j3e125 Před 5 lety +50

      Exactly. The first part would allow you to play as an OP super soldier similar to Halo or Titanfall. It’s more focused on offensive, fast paced shooting where your abilities support the gameplay mechanics. The downside to this is the dependency on nectar, and your character needs a cool down and is vulnerable when not using nectar. The second half would take away some of your super-abilities, and turn the combat into human vs superhuman shooting where you fight against competent enemies that aren’t bullet sponges but have the ability and intelligence to pose a threat. In abscence of nectar, you won’t have any penalties and it allows your raw skills to interact with the gameplay.

      The plot was weak,
      The game only took about 5 hours to complete...,

    Funnily enough, Haze seems to be the PS3-exclusive FPS that runs best on the PC. A sixaxis controller is mandatory for Killzone 2 and it runs poorly (~15-20 fps), Killzone 3 just runs poorly (~15-20 fps) and has busted audio, and while the Resistance series works decently the game logic breaks above 60 fps. Haze runs completely fine at 1440p 120 hz/fps. Ain't that a kick in the head?
    Also funny, the Mantel gameplay really reminds me of playing a Veteran Sharpshooter in Darktide.
    Disclaimer: I have a PS3 and the original discs, and after 10 years I bought a specific encoded blu-ray drive specifically to play the discs on PC because the PC is my primary platform.
