I know, firsthand, how a sexual assault can change your life. I was convinced of sexual assault against my ex-girlfriend, and none of the evidence proving I did not do this serious crime was used in court. Now, I am a registered sex offender for the next 25 years, and it has changed my life forever and I have a lot of depression because of this.
Did you have a prison sentence imposed?

On the one hand, I pity anyone who’s been falsely accused. On the other hand, if a victim feels so strongly about what happened that they’re willing to testify in a court of law, by itself, that says a lot. Prosecutors don’t try flimsy cases.
Liars exist. I have been lied on and she didn't mind taking it to court.
Also if you’re illegally here it’s an easy way to get your green card.

A man or boy reporting being raped/sexually assaulted, to his woman psychologist(unable to find any local male psychologist, claiming now 92% in Province female; and woman social worker, were told they hung up each time.
All they got on response, so claimed, was demands identifying the men boys making the accusation, home address even if location known at the moment.
Both informed the person(S) no longer contact them.

survivors need a lot more help, maybe focus on helping the people who need it rather than focusing on the like less than 1% of "liars" or whatever.
