hi tati! what you’re calling duochromes (especially lightworks) are actually multichromes! you can see more than two colors. mac blue brown is duo, but danessa, clionadh and all of those indie brands tend to do multichromes.

I'm a simple woman: I see Lightwork IV, I click. I'm glad it's in the #1 position for you. It's one of the most expensive palettes I've ever bought for myself, but definitely one of my top ones as well. The shadows just perform so incredibly and are so stunning... I just wish I had more occasions to wear it makeup like that to, haha.
Every day of life should be an event worthy of that palette. I get what you mean. I’ve stopped saving special items for special occasions. Being over 50 my life is on the down side of the hill and Target is an event to me lol😅
@@asoftbelle Girl, yes. If Target is worthy of duo-/multi-chromes to you, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I'm just too lazy to put in that much time on my makeup unless it's a "special event," anymore, no matter HOW much I do love some of my eyeshadows. But man, someday if I can ever retire (not holding my breath on that one :-p) and I have nothing but time, Target might be an event to me as well, haha.
I swear you look more stunning with each video. I don't know exactly how to describe the aesthetic of the look you have going here. It kinda gives like little bit of a 90s grunge glam with the jewelry and hair. It's just an effortlessly gorgeous vibe 😍😍😍💜
P.s. I love that I'm not the only person who does all the crazy body swatches when talking about makeup or looking at new makeup. My sister pokes fun at me when I end up covered in swatches like this. One that stuck out at me was when she called me a rainbow zebra 😂💜

I do custom spray tans for a living. They are so worth it. ☀️

That Makeup Revolution deep purple looks beautiful! And I'm so glad Tati is making videos again. We get nothing but unbiased reviews, and even if she loves something, she's still going to point out minor flaws. We can always depend on Tati for the truth.

Tati’s Palette 🎨 is still the best ever.. I am still using her original Palette from 2019 & it still blends like a dream. Best glitters I have ever used. I don’t wear eyeshadow every day but Tati Beauty please come back. 🙏🏼 We need Tati&James Volume 2. 😘❤️🎨

I love how other people wear eyeshadow! I own like 3 small luxury eyeshadow palettes, but I only wear basic, neutral shades. I love shimmery and colourful palettes, but I don’t buy them because I know I won’t wear them. They’re beautiful though! The intensity of the colours is astonishing ❤
The less is more concealer concept was a game changer for me. Robert Welsh does such a good demo of this! My under eye lines went away by 50%, with another 30-40% going when I found the right concealer for my personal under eye. Do your research and you might need to try different ones. Elf Camo concealer is everyones fav from the drugstore it seems, but even the hydrating one sucked for me. I ended up with NYX HD concealer after researching top concealers
I wore the hydrating concealer yesterday and omg it made my undereyes LOOK SO AGED AND DRY 🥹
The fact that I ordered the actias luna pallet as soon as she swatched it let’s me know that I absolutely love and trust tatis opinions ❤

I totally had that all day wear with the elf halo glow!! Returned it!!
The last one really blown me away. I’m not into some kind of metallic so much colour eyeshadows. But that really reminds me of my fav. Bug back home. Which are golden tortoise beetle. Jewel beetle and other kinds of colored beetles. Their beautiful metallic colors. And when the light hits it. It change colours like that.
The whiteish and pink middle row shades in the Dynessa Myricks (i butchered that spelling) are AMAZING. Especially the white one (which becomes light pink… seafoam green… omg gorgeous). I can tell just by the way that you handle your shadows so delicately why it’s not working for you. Best thing to do it use pressure with your pinky like you’re taking eye cream from a lil jar until you get a good sized flake on your finger. That flake will spread on your eyelid/swatch like a dream. It is cream shadow in flake form until you press it. Just remember, at least the first few times, you have to dig in there with a lil pressure to get a flake (think of maybe if half the nail polish on your pointer finger chipped off - that size and consistency. And don’t use a brush) Hope that helped. I know you’re going to be obsessed when you try it. It’s my favorite thing in the whole palette.

Unless she's talking about the neutrals palette. That palette is only $14 dollars. The quality seems great for $14. She's just salty, understandably so, but if I was looking for an affordable palette with a great color story that one looks good.

It does make 4 more brain 🧠 room, it allows u to b more individual but being critical is not brutally honest so it's Tati's real beliefs, her raw side! That's something that can't b faked & being brutally honest has it's downsides but only if one judges others? So my issue would b I've never thought I'm even as good as anyone else...so just being Grateful, trading expectation for appreciation, but I seriously do believe we all at LEAST have an ethical duty to speak up if we see something that's not right.....not just go along with following orders...& Yes Ur more incredible than U know! It's true trust me! Especially picking up on THIS, so imagine all I know how capable U already are and multiply that by billions! That's the TRUTH! Trust Me please!
There is nothing about Tati's videos that I do not love. Her facial expressions and reactions are hilarious and wonderful, her knowledge is amazing, and each video is captivating. I am not good with makeup or fashion but even I am here for it.

For the Elf Liquid Glow I only use it under foundation (or over) & just in the outer areas of my face. I'm combo/oily and using it all over or mixed with foundation can be the extra step to making me look oily or slick. It's pretty and my fave routine using it as the former.

Tati I agree, the Danessa Myricks formulas and color punch are a sure fire fav for me and I get complements every time I wear her products… like today in honor of my son and Autism month I wore her blue COLORFIX as a blended shadow and under eye liner💙💙💙💙💙💙
I bought two pallets after watching this. The wet n wild and the tart sweet cravings bc I love how it looks on Tati and watching the video I was hoping she would mention what she was wearing on her eyes. The tarte palette has not come in yet but the wet n wild…wow… it’s really is amazing. I couldn’t believe how great the formula is for only $7. One of my favourites

I just want you to know Tati that I wore your palette for my babyshower last weekend and for a maternity shoot this week, I'm going to be devastated when I run out of this palette, it's my favorite ever and get asked what I'm wearing every single time!
I absolutely agree. We need to be fixing each other's crowns and watching over each other because God knows no one else is. The world is a tough place out there and sometimes we're even heard on ourselves, so let's watch out for each other.

Love all your videos and this one was helpful. I too got the DM eyeshadow palette and absolutely love it. I was hoping that you might do a updated version on all your favorite brushes you use on the daily and what you use them for. It’s been a couple of years since your last one and a lot has changed in the makeup world. Techniques and products are some. Again love your channel and recommendations.
I just bought the DM light works palette. To justify the price it took everything in me to save 2500 Sephora points for the $100 gift card. I just bought it for $25. Yay!

"That unflattering grey tone" in an eyeshadow is exactly what I look for because it is flattering on ME. I wish more brands would make some grey blue purples. SIGH.

Thinking there are nice grey tones but she's talking about something that isn't meant to be grey but looks that way because it's not made well...
One area that I think is weak about Tati's reviews, is her consideration of those with different skin types, coloring and tones.
This was such a fun and enjoyable video. The three palettes that caught my eye the most were “Sweet tart cravings” palette from Tarte (I have literally never been drawn to this brand but those shades of purple are literally some of my favourites) (16:31), “The new mod mini” palette from Sigma (this is one of the most beautiful palettes and the size is perfect for me) (7:02) and “The Pure Nude” from Catrice (14:59), though I never liked brown shadows it is calling for me.
The Revolution has a brown 1 in same packaging and I've enjoyed it so when I saw purple 1 I went ahead and bought it. That purple glitter is almost unexplainable on eye. Enjoyed it as well
Also, can you talk about your tan. It looks beautiful. How do you get that tan look? I’m new to your channel in case you’ve already talked about it.

I'm not sure if you've ever tried indie brand eyeshadows but there are brands that are absolutely beautiful! They have duochromes, multichromes, iridescents, etc! Clionadh Cosmetics, Terra Moons, Gavissi, Devinah, Shine by SD, Copacetic Cosmetics, and more!
This is giving me the same vibe as Beauty News, like an overall cover of current things. I could definitely enjoy this kind of video once or twice a month, even if it's just you talking about how you feel about products that you haven't bought or tried.
Do you know what Sigma palette doesn't get enough love? It's the Diana Saldana palette. I don't like to buy high-end makeup, but I made an exception for that palette, and I'm so glad I did!
