- Been a while since my last alternative build. Here is my alternative take on this set using only parts from Lego 71772. Have fun with the build!
Hi all, Its been a while since we last had an alternative build :D A big thanks to my friend for lending me his set to do this! Hope you enjoy this alternative build as much as I did coming up with the design! Cheers and keep on bricking!

The name reminds me of the crystal beast from Hero Factory: Invasion From Below. This thing looks absolutely amazing though for sure

I recently tried to do an alternate build of the Crystal King combined with the Overlord Dragon to create the ultimate Overlord but haven't been able to come up with a satisfying build. This makes for excellent reference, so maybe I'll manage. I would love to see you create such a build.

@Chubbybots Ikr! It introduced so many interesting pieces! And the idea of using CCBS for mechs was something I hadn't seen at the time, since I wasn't paying attention to the moc scene!

i recently bought 1 crystal king mech set, but now found another for £10, i was wondering if u could make a video where u take parts from 1 to upgrade the legs on the other. example, changing out the evo mech joints for ball or rachet joints. would appreciate it.
